The whole tone of the hydra fight makes it look and feel like a kid friendly version of a Dark Souls boss.

I may not have seen ps1 graphics until now, but may I just say, THE WAY THE HYDRA HEAD MELTS IS HORRIFYING
Never understood why they included medusa into the bosses, as she had very little presence in the movie, instead they could have included something like the final fight with the titans, some sort of boss rush
Yeah possible, but still dumb as she only had 3-4sec screentime in the movie XD
In the level where you ride pegasus.. The titans act like bosses.. (The Fire titan is pretty hard)

7:17 Reminder: That's not Medusa, it's actually one of the gorgon sisters Euryale. Apparently that was confirmed as Medusa would later on appear in the Hercules TV series

This game was the only reason I liked Hercules, the Disney cartoon. I played this game first before watching the movie. Everything was so awesome of how they implented in the game/movie.
Also, despite how much I like this game, the Hades fight is pathetically easy. One attack that you can stun him out of by just attacking him, and he hovers in reach 90 % of time. How come the Medusa fight had asome actual challenge and variation, but the final boss fight requires literally no skill at all ?
TheApachacha all these boss fights see laughably easy, but i'll bet the levels leading up to them are really hard
Well, Deimos and Phobos were children of Ares, not Hades. After babysitting for who knows how long, anyone would be more than a tad cranky.
TheApachacha This is true but the pattern of the password vases in that level seems to vary... I managed to get the 4 password vases a few times but mostly just wound up with 3 and never understood why. But yeah the boss itself is really uninspired.
