Bro there’s never enough bikes. Enjoy yourself for the rest of your days. If there’s another bike you would also like buy it. I got this bike too. I love it. Procrastinated over it for a year
I picked up an FX Sport 6 in early March & have put 2000-miles on it. It’s such a smooth, light weight & comfortable bike. I just can’t stop riding it!
I'm 67 and picked up this bike about six weeks ago. Had back surgery a year ago and needed a more upright riding position. Perfect bike for me love it!
@@vbBegin1957I was looking for a more lightweight bike, which is why I went with the FX series. It turns out it's fine for my back. I've had no issues whatsoever.
Might not be your last bike if you keep cycling. You're already more active than most 70 year olds, which means you might keep going for another 15 years! Best of luck, and long life to you. I bought the Dual Sport 3 Gen 5 for fitness last year, and it has been exactly what I wanted in terms of a comfortable, durable, reliable ride. My hope is to move up to an FX Sport 5 maybe at some point, depending on how much I keep riding.
One of the cooler bikes Trek has made. Can't understand the colour switch for the next model year. I had a Giant FastRoad CoMax 1 that I honestly felt too heavy for (240 lbs), but I loved the speed and flat bars. I'd love to go back to the Fitness bike again.
Thanks for watching. Yes I love this bike. I had an older trek FX2 but this the FX 6 is a game changer, makes me feel like I'm on an electric bike it is so light and responsive.
Yes my FX6 would be my bike of choice for DC. Have ridden many parts of the GAP trail, but never did the whole thing. I live only about 20 minutes from the C&O canal.
The Trek dealer had to change the seat post collar to one that allowed you to mount the rack. Wasn't hard, they just took the original off and put the other one on.

Love mine so far but it has been so hot here in Pennsylvania haven't ridden as much as I want to. Thanks for watching.

I also needed the upright position and love this bike.
Since your back surgery didnt consider the Trek Verve 3? This is the best upright handlebar.
Just curious. Thanks

Nice bike😊
Very nice bike. But, that kickstand, LOL. Many happy miles...
Does these bikes not come with kickstands
No kickstand but you can have one out on
There is always room for another bike haha
I see you are in PA. I live in Pgh. I ride the GAP often and am doing the To DC next summer. Would you use this bike to go to DC?

@@gregghershberger7968 Awesome. So can you still attach Pannier's and other storage bags?
@@onemorething100 Yes I have a rear rack on mine and you can get a front rack on also. They make all kind of bags for the frames also.
@@gregghershberger7968 I appreciate it. Thank you
How did you mount the bike rack to the seat post I have the same bike like you

Can you post part numbers?
@@WalterFord1964 I don't have the information, they just did it when I picked the bike up at the shop. I'm sure any trek dealer will have it in stock.
@@WalterFord1964 Just did a search on google and it was easy to find. Bontrager Eyeleted Seatpost Clamp
Does the bike have an age limit? Everybody seems to feel the need state their age. I'm betweem 18-100
