- Officials with the Secret Service, the FBI and the City of Milwaukee briefed reporters Sunday on security plans for the Republican National Convention set to begin Monday in Wisconsin. Meanwhile, FBI officials released new details about their investigation into the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump at his campaign rally in Pennsylvania Saturday. CBS News' Scott MacFarlane and Nicole Sganga report.

If you are talking about Kimberly Cheatle. She has been with the Secret Service for almost 30 years. She joined in 1995. That seems like experience. The previous director James Murray also joined the Secret Service in 1995.

After what happened yesterday, I don't trust the Secret Service nor the law enforcement. They did not do 100% screening of the surrounding buildings.

I agree, why were there 3 small women as the main security protecting Trump? There bodies aren't big enough to protect him flying projectiles. And physically, their bodies aren't as strong. It's nothing to do with sexism, it's just facts. There are very real differences between men and women and we shouldn't be putting so many small framed women in positions that require great strength and toughness.
Also, how they kept fumbling around with their weapons n such, was very strange. It was as if they didn't know what they were doing and I'm curious how much experience they had prior to this job.

Last year I would have never voted for Trump, this year with everything going on I've been on the fence, and now after doing my own research and what happened this past weekend, Ill be voting for Trump! I've never claimed to be politically inclined, but what I know now is that I'd rather go back to when Trump was in office. Although i thought the world was going to blow up when he won in '16, it never did, and things were going amazingly, until Covid.
