This is one of those parts of being a big solo artist sucks a bit. There's a lot of jobs riding on the success of your work. People with families and bills and you send them off to prep and dismantle sets at location after location. You just sort of rock up, play a few songs for the 10,000th time for a couple of hours and chill. By the time your part is over, they're just starting back up again.
I mean... kind of depends what kind of entertainer you are. Sure, if you are a rapper, most of the time you just pop up in whatever and do your songs, but other entertainers do take part in creating the show, do soundcheck/rehearsals, do live singing, do choreography at the same time, have several costume changes, have to maintain fitness of their voice and body 24/7, jetlag, have to keep a proper sleeping schedule even with adrenaline pumping way after the show, etc. And if you get a sore throat or you effed up your legs? Welp. It can be just as grueling for them tbh. Again, depending on what kind of entertainer you are.
