    Joe youre a breath of fresh air in the fitness space. There are those that are TOO nerdy and want to argue about stupid nuances. Then there are those who completely neglect nerd stuff and say its a waste of time. And then theres you who is right in the middle who applies nerd stuff to actual in the gym stuff that produces results. We thank you, sir

      Well said! & as he’s mentioned, during college it wasn’t so, he saw nerd stuff as very separate from hardcore BBing stuff. He’s married the two overtime which has lined up with how BBing training has evolved.
      “Well Jay Cutler does this” doesn’t cut it for most clients anymore (if it ever did I’m not sure) 👍

    Completely agree about loading the hips for calf raises instead of the spine! I LOVE doing standing Calf Raises on the Belt Squat machine! It PERFECTLY loads the hips.

    Crazy he looks easily 200+lbs. That is the beauty of illusion in bodybuilding and how 5% body fat makes you appear so much bigger. Beautiful physique and epic training methodology.

    There are converging presses that have worse profiles than free weights and greatly benefit from a band. Foreman makes one that Self Made Training Facility has.

    iI it necessary to pull the shoulder blades together while doing chest exercises? If I do it and pay actively attention to do it, I get pain in my shoulder, it feels not natural (and every one on the internet tell different stuff about it), pls help joe
