As many times that I've read this scripture, I've just realized that God didn't simply love the world, but He SO loved the world. Such a little word, but so much meaning! Thank you, Lord!
Has been a favorite for many years ---- The irrevocable proclamation of John 3:16 is beautifully portrayed, placing further emphasis on God's promise to mankind.
Over 50 years ago, in our high school this was required for District and State competition. A Christian song in a public school! It wouldn't be allowed today. I always thought our choir sounded just like this
Our public school choir in Az always sings Christian songs, and no one says a thing! I'm so grateful they still do! They also have a huge Christmas program with tons of Christmas songs!
Mi marido me dice porque escucho eso si no entiendo el idioma!pero yo le dije que eso no importa, porque mi alma si lo entiende, tanto que siento que me eleva muy alto mi corazon, alma y mente y siento muy fuerte el Espiritu!!
Great to hear as we are having choir in isolation and via zoom to practice this week a learning curve for us to have all parts combined for church service!
Beautiful ...I remember performing Stainer's Crucifixion years ago and have always loved it far more than than Handel's Messiah. This is such a personal meaningful hymn.
One of my favorite hymns, and one which I played often as a communion accompaniment, or funeral voluntary. Beautifully controlled singing, but such a shame there were no bassos to hit a bottom D for the final chord.

Great insight. Seems so simple, but easily overlooked.
And not just 'life' either, but everlasting life! :-)

This is my all time Easter favourite. Nostalgia, joy, sorrow, sweet, peace, all mixed up in this wonderful piece. It's so good I just cry. Every time.
Same here. Every time.
The Good News of our LORD Jesus Christ so beautifully sung.
I love that the sopranos are trained to sing with minimal vibrato. ❤❤❤❤
