As a die-hard Alabama football fan, too many NIL players focused on money and not the game....Plus I personally believe they completely overlooked Vandy thinking it would be a cake-walk game.
Our guys got outplayed, outcoached, and Deboer is waaaaayyyyy too lax for my liking. He needs to put away that west coast garbage and get with the style of SEC football.

What Alabama's line should have done is run a base defense and not go up field. Going up field is exactly what they wanted Alabama to do. Jam and read, stand your ground and let the play come to you.
They tried. Vandy was knocking them back off the line of scrimmage lol

Great video now that I look at it Bama made a key error the ends for Bama always waited on the action to happen and never crashed down on the QB and the running back this allowed there offense to run fluidly. At least if they had of crashed the mesh point it would have made the QB have to make a quicker decision which probably at some point would have cost Vandy some confusion and maybe a fumble or 2.

Georgia turned the ball over 4 times, how we didn’t get blown away in the final score is beyond me.
I was there watching this game and the Alabama players were much better athletes..........There was a lineman for Alabama ..........I think it was 96 and this person weighs 375 pounds and he is not slow. Vandy held the ball for 40 minutes and at the end the Alabama defense was tired............they were not used to playing for so long. Vandy played well and was well coached and lady luck was there on Vandy's side. In other words it was a Black Swan or Perfect storm because Alabama had the 5 star players while Vandy has mostly 3 stars and a few 4 stars. Also they had Diego Pavia and he was awsome with a near perfect game. No sacks and no turnovers. It was like 7th graders beating a High School freshmen team.
Alabama's linebackers aren't reading and adjusting. They're taking plays off it seems. Watch Lawson and Camble not attacking. I told everyone that would listen. It's the linebackers hurting this defense. I saw it in the Georgia game.
Linebackers always got the first back out. Those Linebackers aren't in there gaps and reading

Outatanding analysis of an ugly game. Bama got whipped by Vandy. Our Coaching staff should be embarassed. Our defense got exposed against the run severely but also against the pass. Our D line lost the line of scrimmage. Our LBer play was the worst I can remember in my 76 years and our safeties were late and appeared confused. Overall our defense was not prepared to play (coaching) and urgently requires a lot of work.
How does the coaches put 2 #2 on the field High s chool coaches would not do that
