Glad that the audio issues was addressed, I found it distracting last episode. But I was fine because they made a lovely contributions.
Penson's point on natural selection towards the end of the show really got me thinking😮. Penuel also said not so long ago that if you think you're the best of the best then why would you not want to pass that on to many little you's( im paraphrasing).

I believe men should be part of the judging panel for Miss SA because we often have a unique perspective on women's beauty. Historically, some of the most renowned fashion designers are male, which highlights our understanding of aesthetics and style. Including men in the judging process can bring a balanced and diverse view on what constitutes beauty, allowing for a well-rounded and fair evaluation.

I support opening up the platform for people who wanna come through and contribute. What better way to find out in depth what the general populous is thinking than to hear it from the horses mouth... I think a lot of people have a lot add on these important conversations and it would be dope to see more of that... I guess Pen and the team would have qualify it tho based on the topic to get the best out of public participation. All in all really dope conversations, all love 💯

The synergy is incredible
One thing that I will always appreciate about coming from a small and mostly homogenous country like Botswana is that majority of the population is the same. Every time we win or lose we are fully represented, I feel sad sometimes when I watch things unravel in SA which seems to be an epicenter for experimentation by Western powers, SA is almost like the USA with too many cooks and sauces where anybody and everyone has to be 'represented'. I know I'm rambling but I understand the frustrations of people like IKE.

Miss south Africa and pagentary has a strict rules and requirements which is part of the requirements of the world to be able to enter and participate and represent the country and thts what they look for in the miss sa pagent as well. Pagents are for the charity work and making people aware of their choice of whatver they wna promote make a difference in.

Sometimes I think the education system is designed to not let black south african children from less priveleged schools to win. It's like Bantu education all over again. My mom works as a teacher and she has witnessed how the level of incompetence (at a predominately predominately less priveleged school)certain high level individuals rather choose money over the competency of a child's intellectual development. I mean if you think of how students were better compared to these generation of students that are given way more "rights" and the teachers do not have the right to expell or discipline the child. I remember when I was in high school or primary corporal punishment was a big thing and children would "get in line" yeah there were teachers who were "trigger happy" when abusing the child when it came to punishment, there were students who also had special needs that were not suppose to be in the school. Unfortunately not every Parent, Teacher, students are educated enough to provide for students who have certain needs or they cannot afford to take care of the children, or a specific school due to unemployment, etc ...Yet if you see the level of competency and standard of priveleged schools that can afford to expel or not allow a below average standard due to keeping their standard.
All citizens can decide, there is a whole public voting process 🤷🏽♀️ so you can actually get your favs in top nton nton by voting (yeah you can’t decide the actual no.1, mara you can push for your faves

Yooh i wish i was there to answer Pen regarding the Miss SA. I understand that only reference that was used in the conversation is Zozi but we also had an impactful Miss SA like Shudu, Lalela and Ndavi. I know this was a general conversation but his questions needed someone with proper knowledge in the pageantry world.
I'm not disregarding Ursula's input but it was limited hence it felt like Pen had relevance on his part.
The Miss SA organization always chooses a candidate with a story to tell, substance and most importantly able to shift the narrative in both our country and international pageantry world. 😊
Point of correction : Miss SA has a license for Miss universe and Miss Supranational. Ursula was right that if should be unable to represent the country at one pageant then her first princess will go to the other pageant or share duties of a Miss SA simultaneously.
We've had 4 black Miss SA in a row since 2019 until 2022.
A pageant expert would be great to give an input
