- The rather ominous theme of Wodan Ymir (W15)/Thrudgelmir and the Machinery Children Uruz, Anthuz, and Thurisuz Feff, along with their robot Bergelmir, from SRW Original Generations.
Seriously, the duel between Sanger and Wodan, in which they break through a supposedly armageddon-proof dome with just their swords and manly spirits is like some kind of Chuck Norris joke gone HORRIBLY wrong... In the most awesome way possible, that is.

The scariest thing about Wodan is that he's Zengar. Thats two Zengar's. A horrifyingly awesometasticmanlygreatnessness thought.
Zengar fights and defeats his alternate universe counterpart, shattering a ragnarok-proofed survival dome's roof in the process. It's like a twisted Chuck Norris joke.
@VonBrauny Wodan is not Sanger, he is a Cyborg clone unit, Clone of Sanger Zonvolt! A Cyborg like Angelg pilot, Lamia.

I was very similar. I got the free-pass win (where he gets called away from the battle after so many turns pass) because I couldn't beat him even after Ratsel and Sanger appeared.
I cracked up when they GAVE me Woodan against Vigi-[something] the Inspector. I got scared for a split-second, maybe he'll get one-shot.
But Banpresto gave me the BOSS version of Woodan. Vi couldn't do squat-diddly against THAT kind of HP and Regen.
Oh my Alpha Gaiden, such an odd but awesome game. it was my first fully translated SRW title. I might want to go back and play it again lol.
His first appearance in SRWOG2 was like hell to me.

here you are with an army of the greatest heroes and mechs known to Mecha at the time of the game (excluding Eva, because they were busy angsting from killing what's his face). Amuro Ray, Kouji Kabuto, Tatsuya Kabuto, Ryoma Nagare (albeit Kouji and Ryoma are not in their final mechs), Turn A, Gundam X (or was it DX by this point).
Out of nowhere appears the Thrudgelmir. And holy mother of fuck, by lore he effectively curbstomps your crew like they're made of paper machete, or Raditz.
The original Sanger (AKA who Wodan was more closely based upon) from @G was terrifying beyond all comprehension. It really didn't help he had the infamous Double Regen Ls....
Wodan and Thrudgelmir are so badass that their mere presence within the Shadow Mirror ranks disturbs Axel; may i remind you that Axel is the crazy mofo who immediately attacked Kyosuke right after making a dimensional jump disregarding that Soulgain was damaged and missing an arm
Part of scenario 20 pre dialogue:
AxeI: I trust him (wodan) less than i do W17
Lemon: Oh? you know what he can do right? he gave you such a hard time like Mr Wulf
Axel: Exactly. Are you sure hes in our total control?
This is one of the three theme songs, the other two being Sanger's theme The Sword That Cleaves Evil and Shuu's theme Dark Prison, when you hear it, it means that you're screwed.

The first time i saw Wodan i was all shaky and also amazed by his theme and i said to myself 'this guy is gonna be a heck of a problem and right i was, he literally fought me in a one one duel by me i mean Sanger

Basically Thrundelmir is the Grungust Type 3. He was transported by the Shadow Mirror to the Original universe still as Grungust Type 3. In the Earth Cradle G3 was infused with mechanical Cells. And mechanical cells were created by a sciencist that helped DC at the time. So nothing wrong with DC crest.
If only W15 turned out to be like W17..

Wodan Ymir: the only man who could go toe-to-toe with Sanger "Zankantou" Zonvolt, and stand on equal ground.
...though, if you know the story regarding those two, it makes perfect sense. :P

wodan got most roughest and tough personality I'd ever seen on any :| besides mugen from samurai champloo! anyways thrudgelmir is one of fine class mecha which we shouldn't forget ;D

it was really cool to be able to use Sanger in the endgame of Alpha Gaiden using the Thrudgelmir and finally taking down Magus once and for all, seeing him change from some dude trying to stop you from reaching Magus to outright helping you take her down was one of the coolest moments

We don't know what happened in the shadow mirror's 'verse... Maybe they actually ARE the SM's divine crusaders and painted over it. Most likely tought, the Shadows painted it as a way to show 'good will' towards their allies. But who cares!? looks awesome nonetheless.

in fact wodan ymir (aka W15) is an androïd like lamia loveless (W17) made to be the perfect reflection of the dead sanger in the shadow mirror dimension. lemon did her work to the perfection, exept that wodan has a mecha way better than the grungust III of the living sengar. (you see why sanger needed dygenguard to finaly defeat wodan fair and square)

well Wodan is Sanger, technically.
Sanger only lost to the Galgau so he could unleash his MANLINESS! And get a kickass mecha upgrade. Besides, he felt sorry for Vigagi. I mean who doesn't? Dude gets screwed over so much it's not even funny.

I set this as Sanger's theme when I play OG2, not a fan of Sword Soul One Strike.
My first comment was making fun of how he was Sanger and that in the Shadow Mirror world, there would be no Sanger for him to cut in twain. I kinda failed though. :P

with the exception that storywise :P sanger was pretty much obliterated when he went 1 on 1 with galgau xD (don't get me wrong i like sanger a lot also :) but i'm just saying) :P

Why the eff does Thrudgelmir bear the crest of the Divine Crusaders on the crotch. In *either* timeline.

You clearly didn't play alpha gaiden to complain 'bout Wodan, did you? Before he was a hero, Sanger was perhaps THE boss in Alpha Gaiden in my oppinion. Wodan oneshots you? Sanger (Caller Zengar back then) would do it at a 9 square distance. Wodan has lot's of armor? Zengar would shrug off a cosmo nova with 1900 armor(Nearly 3.5k for OGs, if i'm not wrong in my comparison.) And don't get me STARTED over the damage dealt over average mech HP.
