So many haters. I think him howling on top of the album recording is perfect. Because a) it's kinda a farce in the first place when electro musicians stand in front of a mixing board with headphones on and turn dials and shit and b) maus's wild gesticulations and screaming are half of the performance. btw, I think the lyrics are "goin' to nowhere, in our socks we could go away"
Imo, going to his shows looks like you're paying for a karaoke show with the actual song playing instead of a broken down version. I'm glad all the fans that go seem to have a lot of fun and he's really into everything, but at least have a drummer, someone else standing in front of a mixing board/synth, have the backing vocals play instead of the front vocals, or some effects(which I don't really see in any of the videos of his live shows) to make it seem more like a show worth paying for. But if his shows are cheap cheap then fuck it I'd go!
Man I'm a fan of John Maus but he needs to fucking play a synth at his live shows or something. Screaming over the album is not really conducive to the live experience.
His energy!!!! Looks like a wonderful show. This is one of the best live collections I've seen.

Imagine paying money to see this.
Better than going to a Travis Scott concert.

There's something more powerful about a man pouring his soul out into the mic with hysteric movement, it's an experience.
Yea, fuck off.
