All my clients have their eyelashes washed before an eyelash lift treatment. That being said, if the glue is being used on multiple people I recommend you use disposable brushes to keep your glue hygienically safe. Also note if you are using saran wrap to help process the lift, you may need to reduce the processing time, you need to adjust according to the lash health, strength and curl.

thank you so much. the video is so helpful. would you mind sharing how we check timing ? what is the type of thick, medium thick or thin natural lashes? or what is the best time you will use for everyone in average?
Timing is based on the manufacturers instructions, they can differ, some have longer times for solution 1 opposed to solution 2 then other kits leave solution 1 on longer than the 2nd so I can’t give you general timing. Let’s say though if the solution said 12 mins for a solution and the lashes were medium thickness I might do 10 mins. Tbh it’s about getting used to your kits solutions and following their guide
Never use a flat shield for downward growing lashes because they will get criss cross after a few weeks.. The legg is just to short for this lashes and after a while it will look very messy. Always go for a Round or Hybrid shield 😊
This video was made when all there was was flat shields to choose from as they were the original kit shields, katya vinog and rods from ellebana were something I discovered later and yes I prefer katya vinog now and rounded rods for downward for sure.
Hi! Great video, thank you for sharing your tips. This is my third time doing my own lashes, this time after applying solution 1 and removing it, it completely removed the glue as well, making my lashes come off the pad, and my lift didn't take. I have no idea what I did wrong, do you have any suggestions?
Lashes pinging off the shield after removing solution one is a beauticians worst nightmare, I hate when this happens, I now keep some lami balm in stock and set them back, I also firmly apply saranwrap over them to keep them on the shield.

You got it. Just wipe off excess solution two and then tint lashes. Once tinted you can use a damp cotton pad to wipe off excess of you like, I may have said in this to avoid water but you can rinse after the tint without effecting the lift, I just recommend no water, mascara or oil after completing the final clean (which you are doing to ensure no solution or tint is left in the lashes). Hope that helps :)

A NATURAL look and NOT a BARBIE DOLL or …erhem…..a “lady of the evening” look LOL!!! I do love seeing lip liner done PROPERLY as well as lower eye liner AND My friend is an EMT (I am a Nurse Practitioner - ER and ICU) and she teaches Microblading. MANY MANY years ago I had a “Marilyn Piercing” done on my upper lip and there is still a small “hole”….it was an 18 g he used to pierce it and had I known I would have punched him but alas, hindsight is 20/20…..so, I showed her the wee “divot” that no one but ME really sees and I am NOT the person who wears so much makeup I can just throw some spackle on it and fill the micro divot but….it does bother me. SO….one day when she was touching up my brows, she said, “Why don’t you let me do a Beauty mark there instead because then you could just cover it up with concealer if it isn’t a “beauty mark kind of day”….. I thought “what a great idea”….it took less than 2 seconds and I had a beauty mark! I got compliments on it left and right. It does look completely natural and I do love it but WHO would have thought it would last THREE plus years????? And to top it off, it was THREE plus years ago that she did my eyebrows and liner…..STILL going strong and no “feathering” or bleeding to it at all!!! So, I figured since I mastered the Human anatomy and can pretty much put it back together without any “leftover parts” which is more than I can say for anything from IKEA….then I must be doing well…..now….onto something fun and new….so why not…..microblading, tattoo makeup (LIGHT)makeup, lip liner (barely there) and some blush and liner and brows. If you do it incorrectly TWICE then I would have to have you ask yourself what aren’t you paying attention to!”. He was a wise wise man and I miss him every day. I could write a book on “Daddy-isms” as he always had something to share that always stuck in my head. ♥️ Thank you for doing what you do for us. @@lillyspelman2479 For standard shields I gently lift the eyelid back (kind of near the crease) to help lift the lid back and see the lash line better, then I can get my shield close to the lash line and it seems to remove the creases in the eyelid (if you know what i mean) making this skin more smoother to attach to. Hopefully that makes sense? There are newer shields out now that don't require glue and I've tried them, they do work without glue, look up katya_vinog on insta
Thank you for this useful video! 🌹 I have a question, now i did lvl for my lashes yesterday and the process took 45 mins, but unfortunately my lashes barely lifted :/, so after watching your video i believe that my lashes are thick and down, so is it possible to do it again today, and what is the longist processing time for it.
If you have already tried processing them for the full time you now risk over processing your lashes if you were to do it again with the same times within 6 weeks of the original lift. The only corrective lifts I have done is straight after when a lift has not worked and I’ve put the solution 2 on for a bit longer but kept it at the roots (never to the tips). It’s easy to fry your lashes, you may be best to wait
I don’t have one that id recommend adding I’be always had kits that have the oil included. The lift/lamination kit I recommend is from www.designerlashes.co.nz
Thank you!!! Great tips! 2 questions: 1- what keratin oil do you use and 2- is it necessary to use plastic wrap (client who is sensitive and it bothers her). Thank you in advance!!!
Such an amazing and informative video. Also your voice is so soothing😊 May I ask what glue you use? I’ve been through about 5 different brands of glue and none stick as well as yours do. I am UK based, so not sure we’ll have the product you are using, but we never know! 😊 thank you in advance! And thank you for such a great video 😊💗
Thank you so much! I do make asmr videos as well for relaxation :) The glue I use is from a kit called Clione however I recently was given another to try which I have to say is just as good which is a brand called Lash & Go. I was given the glue by another colleague and not sure where she got it but maybe that will help.
Ah yeah it’s annoying when that happens, normally 6-8 weeks later, I have re lifted and drastically reduced the times when a lift has an area that hasn’t lifted as well but I stick to the base nowhere near the tips or they will fry. It’s risky tbh and only emergency or if I need to relax lashes if lift too much
Mine are thick and straight and I redid mine 48 hours after and they were fine! I do use Saran Wrap over mine so the lift serum doesn’t dry out; I find it curls way better if it stays a wet serum!
For me it’s about how far up the shields the lashes go without hitting the dent in the shield and also how far up you are going to take the solution. I’ve done small on long and short lashes and they have looked great. The teardrop shield grows out the nicest. Anything angular like katya vinog style doesn’t grow out as nice as much but great for bulbous type of eyes
Hi dear from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦😍 am lash artist..use the tint step after u remove step 2 solution immediately..after u finish tint time remove it than apply solution no3..hope that help ❤
Same process as lifting except you don’t use as shield and you brush them downwards to relax them. Timing usually is less as the lashes are processed. If the tips are bent backwards you may have lifted the ends, next time don’t take solution to tips if you did. I use m1 shield on hooded eyes, it’s usually the most lifted without touching hoods
I did the lift for myself!!! My mistake was to apply solution 1 all over my lashes and not just the bottom part! I look really weird right now 😂 and can’t redo them for next 3-4 weeks lol
i did mine for the first time today and they turned out okay :/ i have downward facing eyelashes that are quite long and they barely curled at all. they didnt really stay on as well im guessing the glue quality wasnt great? do you recommend any other glues ? thanks!
Hey, how's it going? I'm from Brazil. I thought your work was wonderful. I'm looking for quality products... Could you tell me which kit you use? explain me a little? Thanks
Hey, please tell me, you used the lifting cream, the neutralize cream, eyelashes paint and that's all?? I would be happy if you could answer me. I ask you for the fact that I have a third solution called moisturizing cream, and I don't know if is OK to use it or not. I happened to do this procedure and the lashes stay straight so I ask if you use the moisturizer?possible this could be my problem I Wana find it😅. Thank you!
I use keratin oil at the end as the process can dry the lashes a little, never used moisturising cream before but if it was in a kit it should not effect a lash lift. If the lashes didn’t lift it would be more about the timing of solution 1 and 2 and getting that right
@galaxydreaming What is the glue you use to stick the rods and the lashes ??? I feel like a just can't get the lashes to stick throughout the procedure 😫
Thy glue was Stacy lash glue, the key is putting it on and then using a fan for 1-2 seconds to help it get sticky and grip, if it gets too dry apply a little more glue as you push them onto shield
I do my own lash lift and I could say that it kinda looks okay but I just wanna ask if ever some eyelashes did not perm enough can it be cured again for that particular part of the eyelashes after a week? Thank you❤
You have to be really careful processing lashes again within 5 weeks (that’s the minimum I allow clients to come back at). They can easily become over processed and dehydrated, in saying that tho if you are using a very gentle solution lashes can be fixed but often the processing time will be much shorter like 2 minutes etc
Hi! Great tips! Ty. When using the Small for the straight thick lashes - how much longer do you leave the solution on without “frying” the lashes? Oh and what do you recommend for the shortest time in between lash curl appointments?
Heya, the longest time depends on the kits recommendations. They can be different, my current kit says 12 for solution one but my old one was 8. Shortest time between lifts is 6 weeks
Hi, have you tried different shaped eye pads or cutting placing them further down and sticking paper tape over the lashes onto the pads, just make sure you remove the tape first before removing the eyepads at the end as the lashes are smooshed between the eyepad and tape and removing in one piece could pull out the lashes
I’m unsure as I’ve only ever used the keratin provided or purchased keratin oil. I don’t use water because the instructions say not to and to avoid it for 24 hours but some techs do use water. Personally I like the client leaving with nice plump lashes
@@galaxydreaming but which one cuz there is so many and they are out of stock on many kits. Do u but your eye lash tint from them also? Where are u located? I would just rather go to u to get my lashes done. I am in northern California.
not sure if you have a video on this topic, but i’d love to see one where you give tips to clients on maybe how to maintain a lash lift and whatnot! i loved this video 😁☺️
@@talyya7752 I have never had any problems, I find the shields pull the lid back away from the eyes and the solutions are thick, not like water, so they never get into anyones eyes. Best do what you feel comfortable with :)
It depends on your lash kit instructions, each is different. You shouldn’t relift for a minimum 5 weeks or you will over process your lashes and they look frizzy
Hi do you have any tips for my easily over processed eyelashes, they tend to completely curl over under my eyelid and process very easily, they aren't pin straight naturally they have a slight curl . Any tips for my at home lash lift as proffetionals always fry and damage my lashes
Hi harmony, I’m not sure I Understand when you say they tend to curl over under your eyelid, do you mean when someone lifts them this is what happens or do you mean your natural lashes are like this?
@@galaxydreaming whenever I get a lash lift procedure done my eyelashes absolutely fry and curl over super tight under my eyelid ( I have slightly hooded eyes)
Oh ok, a couple of things that could cause that is 1. The shield selected for you is too small (e.g. the mound on the shield needs to be bigger so that the lift doesn't go so straight back). Sizes are S, M, M1, M2 & L (Small being the flattest mound so the most pushed back lift, L being the largest mound so a very gentle curl) You could try M2 or L depending on the length of your lashes. 2. The solutions do not and should not ever sit on the ends of the lashes, we try not to curl that area, the tech could be putting the solution over all the length of the lashes but I don't really know if that is the case. In regards to them being "fried" that is over processing - the solution is being left on too long for your thickness of lashes, there isn't a standard, for everyone, length of time solutions should be on for, they are meant to be adjusted according the technicians judgement. I guess all the information means how you receive a lift treatment is out of your control but if you can find a tech that agrees with these steps in a procedure you should receive a better lift for you.

I guess she did a great job…..and you KNOW something looks STELLAR when a female gives another female a compliment! And that is what I still get!! OK then!!! I guess I DO like it……and I SHOULD because we are going on Year THREE and it has not faded one iota!!! Can you imagine?? Crazy right?
Never have to step into a Boots or Shoppers Drug Mart again LOL!!!
So, THANK YOU SO MUCH once again!!! I always find THE BEST people to teach me the right way to do things. It is a gift I swear. I am so grateful I found you tonight!!!
I have subbed and added you to instant notify no matter when!
I look forward to anything you find that helps us all learn new tips and tricks that only someone with experience knows. My Daddy always taught me that “The secret to success is learning what NOT to do…..sadly, THAT knowledge comes with experience in actually doing it incorrectly at least ONCE. If you do it incorrectly TWICE then I would have to have you ask yourself what aren’t you paying attention to!”. He was a wise wise man and I miss him every day. I could write a book on “Daddy-isms” as he always had something to share that always stuck in my head. ♥️
Thank you for doing what you do for us. It takes a lot of work to put these vids together and make them make sense. You are doing a great job. Please don’t stop!!!
Now….back to shopping your store!!! ♥️💋🫶🏻
Great video. Do I need to keep them dry for some time?
For 24h after
Thank you for this video 🙂
Thank you for visiting my channel ☺️
U reuse the same brush for the perm solution, neutralizer and the tint and the same to remove all 3 solutions ?
Looove it, thanks so much for the tips! Can you still use the keratin or nutrition oil to remove the product if you are not tinting the lashes?
Yes I use oil to remove the tint as I avoid using water
Hii, what kind of tint can I use and where can I order both the tint and keratin oil. Thank you great video
I am from NZ so my supplier is local here, I like bronsun dye and binacil tints and any keratin oil for lashes on Amazon is probably ok
Thank you! I’m definitely going to try the mini brush tip to get the products right into the base of the lashes !! Great tip! Xx
Glad it was helpful! Do avoid the water line though.
@@galaxydreaming thanks, do you have any tips for getting the shield on? I always find this so hard
Very informative video. Can you please let me know the eyelash lift kit company? Thank you so much.
Stacy lash on Amazon have a very good lash lifting kit
Thank you for this useful video! 🌹
I have a question, now i did lvl for my lashes yesterday and the process took 45 mins, but unfortunately my lashes barely lifted :/, so after watching your video i believe that my lashes are thick and down, so is it possible to do it again today, and what is the longist processing time for it.
Thank youu soo much ❤️❤️
These are very good tips! Thank You 💛
Glad it was helpful!
Great video! thanks so much :)
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the video...what brand oil do you use?
I use the one provided in the Stacy lash kit or a Russian one called protein Botox from designerlashes
What keratin oil would you recommend ?
I don’t have one that id recommend adding I’be always had kits that have the oil included. The lift/lamination kit I recommend is from www.designerlashes.co.nz
Thank you!!! Great tips! 2 questions: 1- what keratin oil do you use and 2- is it necessary to use plastic wrap (client who is sensitive and it bothers her). Thank you in advance!!!
I use the keratin oil provided in the kit I purchase which is Clione. I don’t always cover lash lifts no
What a beautiful lift ❤
What brand is the keratin oil that you use?
Hey what shield do you use ? X
Great video
I used an m size shield but I prefer m1 or m2
Hey! Do you usually dry your eyelashes when you finish? Ty, love it
Hi, not usually, I like to wipe off excess keratin but not dry them, the process is drying so I try to leave the lashes as nourised as possible
What brand of product did you use for the lift supplies and the karatin! Thank you
This kit is from Stacy lash. They have a keratin/nourishing oil in their kit
Thank you so much you helped a lot !!! 😍😍😍
Yay! So good to what that 👏🏻👏🏻
Such an amazing and informative video.
I was given the glue by another colleague and not sure where she got it but maybe that will help.
awesome tips! what keratin serum did you use?
Thank you, I just use the keratin that comes with the kit
Great tips- I have strong straight lashes and my lash lift didn’t take as well! How long do I leave my lashes for before doing the next lash lift?
Ah yeah it’s annoying when that happens, normally 6-8 weeks later, I have re lifted and drastically reduced the times when a lift has an area that hasn’t lifted as well but I stick to the base nowhere near the tips or they will fry. It’s risky tbh and only emergency or if I need to relax lashes if lift too much
Mine are thick and straight and I redid mine 48 hours after and they were fine! I do use Saran Wrap over mine so the lift serum doesn’t dry out; I find it curls way better if it stays a wet serum!
So I have a question? If I were to use a small shield, would I get the best lift/ growth look?
For me it’s about how far up the shields the lashes go without hitting the dent in the shield and also how far up you are going to take the solution. I’ve done small on long and short lashes and they have looked great. The teardrop shield grows out the nicest. Anything angular like katya vinog style doesn’t grow out as nice as much but great for bulbous type of eyes
This video was great, what brand lash lift do you use?
I buy mine from www.designerlashes.co.nz
What kit do you use?
For now I use the Curacoro 2in1 kit for brow and lashes ❤❤
Hi! Can you please write down the exact order of the steps? Because I dont know when to apply the lash tint:( thank you:)
Hi what tint are you using??
UHMMMM JUST FOLLOW THE STEPS IN THE VIDEO....
Hi dear from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦😍 am lash artist..use the tint step after u remove step 2 solution immediately..after u finish tint time remove it than apply solution no3..hope that help ❤
Hi! I did my lashes with an S and they look great but their going into my fold how can I fix this?
Same process as lifting except you don’t use as shield and you brush them downwards to relax them. Timing usually is less as the lashes are processed. If the tips are bent backwards you may have lifted the ends, next time don’t take solution to tips if you did. I use m1 shield on hooded eyes, it’s usually the most lifted without touching hoods
I did the lift for myself!!! My mistake was to apply solution 1 all over my lashes and not just the bottom part! I look really weird right now 😂 and can’t redo them for next 3-4 weeks lol
Heya, oh no! You can relax them, follow the same process without the shields but instead do 1-2 minutes each solution and brush downwards
i did mine for the first time today and they turned out okay :/ i have downward facing eyelashes that are quite long and they barely curled at all. they didnt really stay on as well im guessing the glue quality wasnt great? do you recommend any other glues ?
thanks!
I use the glue that comes with the kit from www.designerlashes.co.nz
Hi there!can you tell me wich (nome, brand)queratin do you use?
I use the keratin that comes with the through designer lashes but she sells keratin separately also www.designerlashes.co.nz
Hey, how's it going? I'm from Brazil.
I thought your work was wonderful.
I'm looking for quality products... Could you tell me which kit you use? explain me a little?
Thanks
I use the lash lift kit from www.designerlashes.co.nz
If the lashes didn’t lift it would be more about the timing of solution 1 and 2 and getting that right
@@galaxydreaming OK, Thanks for answering me! ❤️😘Appreciate it! 🙏
Great video and tips Thankyou
Glad it was helpful!
Ah ok so the different size pads are not for how lifted the lashes would be rather Its the size of the eye lid?
I do my own lash lift and I could say that it kinda looks okay but I just wanna ask if ever some eyelashes did not perm enough can it be cured again for that particular part of the eyelashes after a week? Thank you❤
You have to be really careful processing lashes again within 5 weeks (that’s the minimum I allow clients to come back at). They can easily become over processed and dehydrated, in saying that tho if you are using a very gentle solution lashes can be fixed but often the processing time will be much shorter like 2 minutes etc
@@galaxydreaming thank you so much. Godbless and keep safe always❤️. Love from the Philippines
What brand lash lift are you using?
I use the one from www.designerlashes.co.nz
where can I buy the keratin oil? I didn't see it on your website. thanks!
It is called Reconstructing Treatment on the www.designerlashes.co.nz website
Hi! Great tips!
I used Lash Lift kit of Thuya, but i dont like the result, the lashes they are not return good. What do you think for these products?
Excellent video....
You're A Badass & Blessed!
🙏❤️👠💋🔥✨️
I struggle to lay down the bottom eye pad that close. They always come up or irritate the client. Do you have any tips on that?
Hi, have you tried different shaped eye pads or cutting placing them further down and sticking paper tape over the lashes onto the pads, just make sure you remove the tape first before removing the eyepads at the end as the lashes are smooshed between the eyepad and tape and removing in one piece could pull out the lashes
Is this the IBeauty Lifting kit? Also, how many lash lifts can you get from this kit roughly? 10?
It’s the Stacy lash kit and I’m uncertain how many lifts the bottles would do but at least 10 I’d say for sure
can you use other oils like castor oil to remove everything? rather than keratin oil?
I’m unsure as I’ve only ever used the keratin provided or purchased keratin oil. I don’t use water because the instructions say not to and to avoid it for 24 hours but some techs do use water. Personally I like the client leaving with nice plump lashes
which perming solution do you use ? and where can i get it ❤️❤️
I buy my lash lift kit with everything in it from www.designerlashes.co.nz
@@galaxydreaming but which one cuz there is so many and they are out of stock on many kits. Do u but your eye lash tint from them also? Where are u located? I would just rather go to u to get my lashes done. I am in northern California.
What shape shield is best to use if I still want to be able to easily do makeup and liner
Hello Marta, good question. I recommend M1 as a good lift without the lashes lifting too high to be in the way
Lovely lash lift! What product you use? Thank you!
Hi, I use the kits that www.designerlashes.co.nz sell
its the cleanser can change to make up remover?
Only if there is no oil in it, oily products should be avoided before a lash lift, even up to 24 hours before
Have you ever used InLei products?
No I haven’t sorry
not sure if you have a video on this topic, but i’d love to see one where you give tips to clients on maybe how to maintain a lash lift and whatnot! i loved this video 😁☺️
Hi, do you not use the brustle brushes for the first solution? Thanks
Yes I do for both solutions
@@galaxydreaming isn’t it dangerous? I mean is it okay for the solutions to touch the roots of the lashes?
@@talyya7752 I have never had any problems, I find the shields pull the lid back away from the eyes and the solutions are thick, not like water, so they never get into anyones eyes. Best do what you feel comfortable with :)
So you can lift and tint all at the same time?
Yeah sure can
Hi, what happens if your clients eyeball gets inflamed? It’s just one eye..
And how do you soothe it ?
May i ask if what tint did you used in this video?
I use blue/black by binacil
@@galaxydreaming thank youuu for noticing. Where did you bought it???
@@ryxlchagas4677 beauty gallery an online store in NZ
Which oil do you use please do remove the tint
I use the keratin oil comes in the kit I purchase at the time, I haven’t had to purchase any separately buy it usually states it’s keratin oil
Thanks so much!
You're welcome!
Thank you very much
What is the longer processing time? I did my down turned lashes with a small shild and they didnt turn up enough. How soon can i redo them! Thank you
It depends on your lash kit instructions, each is different. You shouldn’t relift for a minimum 5 weeks or you will over process your lashes and they look frizzy
Can we asking about the pads lashes is 1 single used?
How soon can I redo mine? I should have used the small pad instead of medium and they don’t look lifted enough
You need to wait 6-8 weeks or you will over process the lashes and fry them, they then become brittle and crinkled, Defo don’t want that
U didn't show us how to place the silicone pad. Mine never stays on or is close to lashes
maybe ur glue isn’t strong enough. u could also get mini tape for it
Hi do you have any tips for my easily over processed eyelashes, they tend to completely curl over under my eyelid and process very easily, they aren't pin straight naturally they have a slight curl .
What do you use to remove the glue if you are out of the cleanser I did a lash lift today and I struggled like never before to remove the glue.
I don’t use a cleanser anymore as I found the keratin oil removes it off the lashes well and off the eyelid
@@galaxydreaming thanks for the response
Hello! Is it safe to put the products that close/on the lash line and skin? Absolutely beautiful results! My lash lift have been quite disappointing!
Yes it’s fine and in fact that is why I believe I get such a good lift, I use a fine brush to get the solution between the lashes
