Warehouse Alley is looking great Joey! Love the magnets - fantastic idea (wish I thought of it, lol). Cool way to integrate the display shelf into the layout - very nice!
The HO switching layout is certainly looking awesome Joey. Really love the look of all the warehouse buildings and the minimalist ground cover with just the key details to make it come alive. Keep up the good work.
Really enjoy so many aspects of your videos and the way you approach the hobby and film. When you are not feeling good about sharing your time/experience/knowledge just remember there are people out there like myself who really appreciate your hard work. Magnets and loco display is wonderful. I will replicate some of what you've done on my own journey.
Thank you, I really appreciate your comment! I'm glad you find these helpful, it's one of the reasons I started posting things in the first place. This year won't have an abundance of new videos compared to previous ones, but I will continue to post as I have more stuff to share. Thanks for stopping by!
I've been following you on this section and it was a sold for me for a couple industry buildings for my own layout. This area looks so good and your artistic skills are spot on! Also love the engine display shelf. Thanks for the magnet tips and looking forward to seeing more of the scenery taking shape. - Jason
Your dirt and grass techniques create the best results I've seen for a midwest scene. Def will be copying those myself, and thanks for the tips! Your pile of bricks also looks outstanding!
The pile of discarded RR ties is a nice touch, as well as the bricks. The display shelf is great idea to keep the equipment within convenient reach. I personally would put grooves to the width of the gauge to help tp lock the equipment in to prevent any unforeseen accidents. You have very nice, compact module and the flip up/ down sections are an added bonus to the operations. A modular design is a great way to explore "Proof of Concept." 😊😊
@@JoeyBPhotography nice thank you! I’m in the works of starting a 2x10 layout now. Just horrible with planning. Not sure how I wanna do it or what I should include.
The railroad tie pile will be a nice addition, love the brick pile too!
Layout looks great! I love that display shelf, holy cow. Great idea. Good to see you back in action.

The colour of the buildings (warehouse) is very well done. The magnets are a great idea and so is the display shelf. Very well done

Looking great Joey, your attention to detail is perfect. Really love the magnet ideas for the structures. Thanks for sharing and stay safe. Ken
Nice update Joey! The whole scene is looking really good. Also, that loco display is great! Excellent selection of locos in there.
Nice work. I enjoy your videos. You helped me with creating roads using tile grout.

Can't wait to see how your buildings come out as well!
Everything is looking great! I really dig the use of the magnets. Tile grout is a real game changer.

Thanks, glad you found it useful!
Can’t wait to see the end result. Good ideas and well done….
I really like that magnet thing! Quite practical.
Welcome back Joey, great video as always!
Glad to see an update video from you. Great layout and interesting concept on how you built it. Keep up the good work.
Sorry to hear about the water damage. I hope you are working that out.
Cool tip on using magnets. Absolutely beautiful scene you have created. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Wow enjoyed the latest video you done thanks for sharing.
What a great idea using the magnets!
I think that your pile of bricks is great and well worth the effort.
Love that the photo you used of the old rail ties is in the Woodard park of Liverpool NY always love rail fanning the st Lawrence sub!
Its been awhile man, excited to watch!
Sorry if I missed this... but described your concrete coloring, very nice
The concrete color is from a rattle can of Krylon "Matte Sand Dollar", then some weathering powder afterwards.
Those ITLA background flats look fantastic.

Wow, just wow!
Layout looks great. I’ve subbed so I can follow your progress. Cheers, 👍🇨🇦
Thanks!
Great ideas - keep it going.. Many Thanks
Hi Joey. Thanks for the update. For some reason I wasn’t getting notified of your videos. Sorry bud.
Magnets…outstanding.
Excellent video look forward to next
GREAT JOB! THANKS!
you could add a graffiti wall under the locomotives. the display looks great!
Thanks for stopping by!
are you planning on also making magnetic roofs for the buildings? That sounds cool in theory, at least. :-)
Not sure, but that sounds like a good idea
Just an idea. Could make the ground look boot worn by your switch stands..
That's an interesting thought
Great use of magnets!! Do you recommend a particular type or brand?
I use neodymium magnets I find at Hobby Lobby
😊
Put plexiglass on front of locos keep dust and what not from getting on them
The whole layout is covered in plastic when not in use, I never have dust problems
Why all the different railroad locomotives from all over the country, and not from one railroad or two of one zone?
Why not? :) I like what I like
@@JoeyBPhotography OK. Fair enough.
How is the static grass easy to work with
It's really easy to work with! It also creates a big mess if you're not careful, too!
What’s the dimensions?
The layout portion is 20"x80", and the shelves add an additional 22" for the warehouse and 36" for the staging shelf

@@dog_house875 yep - sounds just like where I am, dimensions and all! (Especially the “not knowing what to include” part)
