i started playing beat saber a few weeks ago with the purchase of my own oculus quest 2, yesterday i played beat saber with my friend, i thought he knew i wasnt good at the game but apparently he didnt because he put on this on expert + with no arrows and i just stood there expecting something simple and then i see a wall of notes appear in the distance and panic
I'm very new to this and still on normal mode, seeing people doing E+ is pure black magic. But I think this song's normal mode is really cool: I can see the story, how you're slashing the enemies (other pirates attacking your ship? :D) as you go through, you duck under a boom, and just generally end up in Jack Sparrow style mayhem :D
I mean... that's what they did. This is Boom Kitty's song. There's several other of their songs on Beat Saber (and not just the PSVR version). Apparently they also got the rights to some Imagine Dragon songs (but those are DLC).
If you click the hat to the left of the play button when selecting a track, you can increase the speed up to 150% or decrease the speed to 50%. Hope this helped!
ngl i feel like there could've been cooler swings for this song, like the lay out of the song, not saying it's bad, but saying they missed some potential
I really miss these graphics from psvr. With the new update the whole experience just got downgraded and dumbed down :( I'm legit heartbroken, this was my most played game last year and this year. I can't play it with the new shitty graphics though.
MisterGore You upload your video and out perform his score if not satisfied. That (though they missed a few blocks) is still an amazing fleet to accomplish.
It is definitely one of the easier Expert+ songs. Although I feel a lot of the reason the others are harder is because they don't flow as well. A map can be difficult because it has a lot of notes in quick succession, or it can be difficult because it asks you to make cuts that don't quite fit the audio, or are awkwardly placed. I get that some people really like that sort of challenge but for me, things get exponentially harder when the notes do not flow well, and I stop having fun. I was excited when Expert+ came out but after playing a few they felt more like memorization exercises than a proper flow. Went back to community maps after that. But this one is truly excellent. Mastery comes with time though. Just play what you find fun, and eventually you will find songs you were struggling with become a bit easier, and the notes seem to slow down their speed coming at you. Bump up the difficulty, and don't be afraid to run it with No Fail until you are confident enough that you can survive a full song. I only play maybe 3-4 hours a week at best and I've noticed that older songs I used to consider having a fast tempo now feel like I'm slashing through molasses.

I literally started at 50% speed for a few weeks, bumping it up bit by bit but still only making it through with no fail turned on. Then, something just clicked! I still fail a lot on spots like the moving drum rolls, but I succeed more often than not! And other songs I am picking up remarkably quickly. I felt exactly the same in the beginning with the jump from hard to expert. I was so frustrated that I couldn't get it (that was before you could slow it down without a mod) that I stopped having fun. Back then I watched UA-cam videos of others playing at half speed just so I could learn the patterns. And after 2 weeks, it clicked!! You're building up your muscles' ability to move the sabers that fast and your brain is learning to comprehend patterns that fast, at the same time. Don't give up!! Because when it clicks it gets SO FUN!
Definitely not hard. Besides the beginning being a tad bit awkward, the rest of the level is easy. Besides, there's a secret weapon in your arsenal, P R A C T I C E M O D E . With this you can practice any part you want at a certain speed, start at 50% and then ramp up by 5% or 10% each time you beat it. Stop at 100%. If you can't beat it, try again, therefore, any level is sorta easy. actually beat it without practice lol

But nooooo now you ugh YOU GUYS AREN'T EVEN DOING ANYTHING YOUR JUST SITTING AROUND UPLOADING VIDEOS TO UA-cam ABOUT THE EXPERT+ LEVELS!!! JUST FINISH THE SONG PACKS PLEASE. I'M TIRED OF HEARING THE SAME SONGS ALREADY
Dude be happy, they're working on more track atm. Plus for some people, this was a major update because we've already beaten all the track on Expert so this is a great new challenge from other players.
