Usually a ham sandwich or pop tarts 😊 you made me dig in my fridge and pantry and made what my son called southwest egg roll enchiladas. Piece of chicken breast, spinach, black beans, corn, cream cheese, green enchilada sauce and lots of cheese in a tortilla. Omg I'm so full 😂 I figure anyone who makes me that hungry definitely deserves a sub! Rock on young lady! You're doing a great job! And cute kiddos, btw!
Cool tip -- if you are going to use a whold box of chickn broth .. once you start pouring stab the end with a knife , it will all come out much faster 👍
It’s so nice when we make our own seasoning mixes. Yes, it’s cheaper in the moment (and less work) to buy the packets, but it really is cheaper and tastier to make your own. We have a new family at church and the wife has a sensitivity to MSG. It was a relief for her when I told her I made my own taco seasoning mix and it had no msg. No added sugar, and a lot less salt (Himalayan pink salt). I made taco meat from TVP, no beef broth, and my taco seasoning. Then I just kept it warm in the little slow cooker on warm.
Your recipes are so unpretentious and unassuming, approachable and appetizing. For someone like me who has zero cooking skills feel like i can make these and am excited to try.
