16mm documentary film of Toronto bike messengers shot in 1999 #bikemessenger #bikecourier #documentaryfilm #independentfilmaker #criticalmass #alleycat
1-6-0! Adam's dispatch audio is taken from a full day of recording him through a two-way radio without him knowing. Every shot that matches his dispatching is from above, looking down, representing God talking to you.
I worked for KGV I think thats what they were called. They called us the russians anyway. It was 1999 or 2000, worked from march to august and LOVED it, but it was hard to survive on the pay so had to move on. Best job i ever had.
@@criticalmass613 well, you should be able to tell if there is a claim on your video in your channel videos details if there is one there. Otherwise they are posting advertisements on non-monetized channels. I would recommend applying for monetization so you at least get something if they are posting advertisements on your videos... hopefully more people will subscribe so you break the 1000 barrier meeting their requirements to apply for monetization.. I subscribed!
21 years old,this film rules
Ha! Thanks bud!
@@criticalmass613 is it possible for you to make a 'Where are they now?' video for at least some of the people in these videos?
@@Ivandrago89 Only if I could shoot it on film, and have the same optimism I had when I was 27.
@@criticalmass613 thanks for the reply
@@Ivandrago89 Thanks for reaching out and watching! Have a good one
Big respect för these people!
Adam sounds exactly like the voice behind Good Trails youtube channel that used to be based out of Toronto
How did you get the riding shots with a film camera?? TO looks so dirty and gritty... very cool
Keeping it alive here in Philly
Nice. Keep on keepin' on, bud.

How much do you pay for gas and bike insurance, and registration??
Ha! $8 for a giant roti, $13 for a light and a bell, and a middle finger for the registration.
Hahaha he's from Singapore
not yet monetized but they are posting advertisements on your channel.. maybe a claim on the video already.. just thought you would like to know...
What does that mean? Someone else has claimed the rights to a movie I made?
