definitely one of the best virtual analog hardware synthesizers even been made... what a rich sounds, such a confident tone, dreamy.
One of the best synths of all time for the money. I will never sell mine. I would even buy another one for the right price.
I regret I sold mine that I bought in pristine condition. What a dummy.
sounds really good,they only produced it for two years ( 97-98 )but it is still amazing for years.

I'm happy to say, I'm fortunate to have one of these wonderful boards in my collection.I have around five Yamaha VA synths and love them. Often overshadowed by the big boys Roland and Korg in the 90s. The synth sounds great a more rarer classic, you may find second-hand will be h luck at a reasonable price. Not just a trace machine, but an ambient one too.. Just love the lush strings and JMJ styles. Great demo and great playing, inspiring me to use mine again. Thank you.

your demonstration is wonderful !!! I still do not understand how the Yamaha manufacturers do not repeat this sonic architecture in other synthesizers which will never be obsolete.
Could you tell me how you did to make the arpeggiator sound and then play chords on the arpeggio at 2:17?
