Ah, Lido beach, used to be a topless beach..
last week in jonh pass I found a gold ring with emeralds and today I found another ring it looks like silver I will tested later ,to see if one day we meet on the beach I live in largo.

Do you ever examine the history of the spot that you're detecting! I mean I think you are more into the Bling than historical finds?
There isnt much history with the beaches and if there was it would be twety feet under blown in sand!
They rebuild our beaches when needed.
So yes the bling is what we look for!

I'm also looking as well. I'm moving back to Sarasota within the week
I've been to Lido twice this year. The beach was renourished in 2019 and so it's sanded in deep. I had a few targets in the water that were pennies and they were about 6 inches down. I never have any luck with the Sarasota beaches just too much sand. The last day I was there I also hit up Siesta Key. Four hours in the water with nothing to show for it. That day there were also 4 other Detectors out there and no one was pulling anything up.

Brother that’s a wide beach it would take a while to grid out some of those spots. I don’t go beach detecting enough to know much about it but believe me I am paying attention to what you say. Great video

Let me know if you find any custom, art deco diamond wedding rings at Lido - lost mine August 2019. Still has not surfaced.
Please post this to the south florida metal detecting group.. They recover rings and return them all the time. Another thing is they replenished the beach with tons of sand and most anything will be lost for years until a storm happens. I have found 100 plus year old rings at a few beaches. So, you may always get something back.. Appreciate you watching.

I must admit you make this look so easy I tried doing medal detecting in the water this weekend way harder than I expected so many targets it was unreal I’m guessing nobody had ever hunted this beach well long story short I did it for about 15 minutes the daughter wanted to play so no fun for me but great video
