The result being LB isn't as tight with Cat Noir as she should be, and perhaps it might even explain Marinette's inability to talk to him in certain situations. - the identity protection magic might be screwing with them.

Kagami more than definitely does not know or understands adrien the best. While Kagami is observant and can read him- that doesn’t necessarily mean she knows him. You can see this in the episode “Lies” where she doesn’t even know what his true self is- and believes him to be perfect when that’s just a facade. She not only dislikes his real self but also believe his real self to be perfect and the mask he puts on for his father and high society.
The part where Chat was asking for Marinette's help and being all flirty, Marinette was like "what about ladybug, aren't you a duo?" and Chat was literally like "YOU get to be MY ladybug" so basically, he's saying he's in love with her, like literally, how can your 'just a friend' replace the love of your life? Huh Adrian, kinda sus 🙄🤚
Also you forgot Frighningale, it's pretty underrated the way Adrien was so shy around Marinette on stage and when they held hands he was genuinely flustered!

An addition to showing off as Cat Noir- With the evillistrator, watch exactly how they escape from the cube. He extends the stick but lets it fall to the point Marinette panics and adjusts her grip to his waist as they fall forward, then when the shot cuts milliseconds later he has her in a princess carry and sets her gently down on the ground. So he must have set up that entire scenario just to do an elegant dismount when he could have just extended the stick hard enough to launch the box off them and walked away.
It’s alright, let him just say “she’s just a friend”. Love is by the action not the words😉. But I’m so proud to hear our boy not saying “she’s just a friend”😍

Hi Lazy! I didn't get to ask you what I wanted to before the chat cut off. Did you notice that in Ephemeral's trailer and the leaked screenshots, that Shadow Noir has all three Miraculous on? It looks like Nooroo, Duusu and Plagg were triple unified with Plagg serving as the main Kwami. There's little peacock marks on his hands, chest and one on his forehead (that vaguely resembles a 3rd eye) that are also a pale purple like Nooroo. He also has the Hawkmoth/Butterfly cane in addition to the Black Cat staff. (Also the akumatized victim is 100% Adrien)
