Love watching your journey Simon! Keep it up 🙌🏾💪🏾
Thanks a lot!!! 😊
Way to go, Simon!
Thanks 😊
Thanks for the content. Always inspiring.
I appreciate that!
I would love to watch a video where you talk about your gear you use and why you decided to use it. It would also be interesting to hear what aero testing you have done or want to do, given that you mentioned working on your position. Bonus points if it is something that is replicable for most of us with tools that are accessible(power meter, steep hill, 3 mile loop...etc).
Thanks for the idea! I just have a 1x chainring 50t and 10-33 cassette in the back. I might switch back to 2x though
I used to do that every Thursday. Flat& fast
Wow! It’s great 👍
That is the loudest trainer ever! Wowza!
I thought it was an airplane taking off at first!
It’s too loud 😂
Trainers cannot handle his wattage and will break
Good luck buddy! Curious, what size chainring do you have? I’m thinking of going with a 53/39.
Thanks!! I have a 1x 50tooth with 10-33 cassette
Amazing. Thank you!
Hi Simon, do you run tubeless tires?
Yep!
25mm tires up front and 28mm tires on the disc.
Out of curiosity, are all of the companies on your kit sponsors or do some of them just give you free stuff? Some big names on there
I’m on the slowtwitch goodlife racing team and these are the companies that back the team 😃
Saludos desde colombia parcero ....
Thanks 🙏
Yes in that regard your right. I meant in amateur bike racing, a solo breakaway doesn’t really happen. Better to train 1,3,5 minutes power and sprinting. Triathlon is a cool sport but way to time consuming for me. Best of luck bro.
Ever heard of a mountain?
The gap between the helmet and the back seems a bit big 🧐
Still working on that fit 😬
first
Nice Tim!
Please don't don't
don't put bar bag, my aerodynamic @ss is hurting 😭
Just under 70psi? U also run hookless wheels? What is your experience with it if you have hookless offcourse? Do u trust it? What do u have for innterubes? Do u have a video about your full detailed setup maybe 🙂
Yep, just under 70psi for front and 60psi for back because I have 28mm tires in the back and 25mm tires for the front.
It is not hookless wheels. I haven't had experience with hookless wheels.
These are tubeless, so I have sealant inside them.
I can see if I can go into a more detailed video about my setup in the future! :)
@@SimonShiThanks for you reply mate. Keep up the good work 🙂
Just as opinion, training for time trials is pretty much a waist of time.
Why is that? I learned a lot from this race. Triathlon is a time trial.
