And comparing a terrible Winter Classic between Chicago,& St Louis to the 4 Nations tourney-what are you talking about? I'm a huge hockey fan who works at the Avalanche arena,watches lots of Denver University & was very interested in the WJCs. I will be very interested in the 4 Nations,& especially Olympics. But Chicago,& St Louis on New Year's Eve-when their was CFB playoff,& other bowl games. I can't remember if there was NFL...but even if I hadn't been working the Avs-WPG game that night,(& btw hockey fans are gonna watch THEIR OWN TEAM if it's on the same time. Not MIDDLING ST LOUIS,& GARBAGE CHICAGO!)-no chance Id watch that terrible,& mostly meaningless Winter Classic between the worst team in the West,& another playoff longshot. And I'm a much bigger hockey fan than the vast majority of Americans,& work at an NHL arena. But having no interest in the Winter Classic doesn't at all mean we have no interest in 4 nations. McKinnon,Mar,Toewes on Canada vs Rantanen,Lehkonen...I haven't memorized all the rosters. But that's a way more interesting situation that has to do with our countries. Not remotely comparable.
