I tried the new floating hide from Buteo, The Grebe

I tried the new Buteos floating hide, The Grebe
and it was awesome. I like a lot of the cool features of the floating hide.
I am looking forward to going into water and making cool photos, soon!

When the birds see plastic, they know something is up. Especially ducks. My experience is that everything has to be hidden immaculately to really fool the most savvy ducks. My opinion.

but then the purpose failed because you are supposed to lie/ sleep inside it paddle n go closer to the birds , that way u will not scare the Birds, but i see u are pushing it while walking

There is not enough space for you to lie down in this floater. Yes pushing it out of the water, when i was done. On my bad luck there was no birds to fotograph at that time anyways

Big disappointment, when you said good price i thought maybe it doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars like the many other because its cheap made but no. Still cost 700$, id rather pay 200$ more and get a more high quality and solid floating device than this childrens pool toy.
