I always want to do this at my place, it just that I do worry making this type of playground will lure hunter (usually young kid or young dude) use sling to kill the bird (even it is flying) just for fun as long as they see more birds are gathering toward a located spot. I wish one day I can do this in own private property larger that sling hunter can not get inside. Thanks for share.

Ah... hello Jurij.... I just realised that this is you. I watched this clip last year to get some ideas for a reflection pool. I see you commented on my clip at Rocky Pool, which is one of two 'natural' type pools that I have made with a hide for photographers. I will be make a reflection pool for birds at the end of the year, and I am thinking about how I can make one for mammals, too.

Hello :) Yes, i was building all of this for about 3-4 months. Quite a project. In Thiland you dont really nice such special hides, as we do in Europe. But i love what you are getting on your pools in Thiland! Love the raptors!

@@JurijAzmanMomirski Thanks Jurij. Yes, many of the bird hides around Kaeng Krachan NP are just shade netting over bamboo, but I have built mine as solid rooms with a concrete floor and sealed viewing windows to make them more comfortable and keep the mosquitoes out. I will make a BTS clip soon on how we built Rocky Pool and Hide. I just launched part 2 of the birds in April at Rocky Pool. Lots of crested goshawk again, and three new bird species.... so nice. I can't wait to get in the hide and film with the Sony.

@@thailandwild4897 if you did so you are a smart man. Consider the lightning also, if it is possible. I was at Doi Intanon bird hides this february and the lightning was terrible there. 5000 iso and more for 1/100. Terrible

This is quite a cool idea and I'm also into photography but I deal with my pets and skyline like sunsets or sunrises etc. I do own birds like: Ducks, Golden Feasants, Chickens etc but it's not easy as they're in a pen and I don't think I'd go in there with them 🤣 and besides, there's not really a wide range of them.
I've had to stop on most things anyway because I broke my ankle a few days ago but photography would still work :D

This video kind of had a similar feel to some Primitive Technology videos, don't know if that was intentional, definitely made it fun to watch. The shots of you walking down the hill with the wooden planks were also funny each time. 😄
Congrats on the new setup, great to see how proud you were of it! ☺️
