- Let's hide Instagram posts from someone in this quick and easy guide.
Instagram by default is an open app that lets people see your content so that it can be shared and add to the overall quality of the app. However, if you want to limit or hide a post from someone there are a couple of options. The easiest but broadest is to change your profile from public to private and make sure that other person is not following you as a follower. If so, you will want to unfollow them. Another option to hide a post, photo, or video from a specific person is to block or restrict them and they won't be able to see the post or comment, like, message you about it. Those are really your only two options. This works the same for both iPhone and Android in 2021.

Ok, so IG needs to have a post-restriction list. That way, certain people won't see pictures, posts, or comments you don't want to share. They can enable this feature right before you post your content, almost like tagging your friends. You could use your close friends list to add those who you want to see the content. I do music talking about my life story some parts of my life were violent like when I was in war yet some people don't want to hear about it, which is fine. This is why the feature would be great. I can keep it real with my true fans and not share that side with those who don't know or cannot relate. Sorry for so much writing. It was just an opinion.

When you block them and post your photos and you decided to unblock them would they still see your photos in their feed?
