@@MainelyEverything I like to think of quality tool purchases as an investment and I could possible convince myself that any Carhartt clothing will last a very long time so that will save me money in the long run. If I say this enough times the guilt will fade.
Haha. It will! And carhartt clothing is an investment. I have alot of work clothes from them and it lasts for a while. I've ripped a couple pair of their pants before but that wasn't the pants fault. I have a few of their big jackets for the winters here. Even higher about getting their gore tex jacket at some point!

@@MainelyEverything I know some tshirts are the same quality as Gildan and some are better & similar like heavy thick material like the old days. I think it depends on the country they were made in
I’ve noticed the same the ones I have with the rain defender logo on the sleeve and it says original fit on the collar are waaaay better than these new style ones
@@SkooterMcGavin042 I don't have experience with the older style unfortunately. but I do know a few people that have old carhartt and say they like it better than the new stuff. I like these heavyweight ones a lot and wear them frequently. haven't had any poor experiences with them yet!
All Carhartts run larger then you might expect I am extra large all day I owe 2 rain Defender hoodies I had to return extra large for large; just a heads up✌️

Bro I have this hood I got 3 years ago I wear it all day long it didn't shrink I keep my smokes in that secret pocket inside there the 5th pocket bro I don't get wet an I'm skinny this is best hoody ever made I don't have the zipper one or the collar I just got a hoody thats rain defender heavy duty 🎉
I got the duck coveralls too an in the freezing rain I throw thin rubber helly Hansen suspenders n jacket over the coveralls I got insulated rubber gloves an carharrt wellington war ready I was a trash man for a year
These don't seem to shrink alot if at all. But I'd have to look at the tag to see the recommended. I just wash it warm normally and dry it on normal or kinda high medium.
Whatever you like! I like alot of boots. As long as they feel good and work good for you that's all that matters. It also totally depends on what you do for work/what you'll be using the boot for! I've been wearing a pair of White's Chore Boots for a while. Good boot but on the pricey side.

The newer version is not the same. Not as heavy duty

I do like it. I wish it was even heavier though. Also the I don't really use the half zip much. But it's really comfortable!

It is a loose fit hoodie anyway so I would recommend normal size. Whatever size fits you comfortably.

Yes it is plenty roomy imo.
now that you have had this for awhile do you like the zipper option on it as opposed to no zipper?
No haha. It honestly gets in the way more than it's useful. I would rather it without the zipper

I weighed the hoodie and it comes out to be 34 oz and or 2.125 Pounds

Yes, definitely. It's heavyweight, so it's a bit thicker. It's not a crazy amount hotter, tho which is nice

@@MainelyEverything you're supposed to wash in cold because it's hot that makes fabrics shrink. These likely wont shrink much but why risk it.
@jebusm86 I've washed them in cold and warm but I dry them on normal haven't shrunk or done anything bad yet.
