Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Indiana is one of the most underrated tracks out there. Big cushion, tacky track, great owner, great prep, and fantastic racing.
This track is awesome. Also reminds me of Bridgeport although it has walls but it’s underrated and great racing.
Rutnamville. I'm talking one rough ass race track. Cushion gets 4 foot tall and turn 1 hasn't been smooth since the 90s lololol. But it always puts up a fantastic show and has great concessions
I was there and the racing was absolutely amazing all night. I wish more fans would have turned out. Hopefully it gets better as word gets out how many cars there were and the quality of racing.
The word has been out. Weekly racing works best for racers. Rest of us have normal jobs.
I think the problem was the date. being in between midget week and sprint week. Most fans take vacation days during those two weeks for weeknight races. Had to make an hour drive to a track for a weeknight race when you have to be at work at 6am the next morning. Makes it difficult. Plus throw the 90 deg temps into the mix hurts as well.
Not debating most the points made here. They all are true. I'm one of those people who uses days for midget and sprint week. I don't believe anyone thought the car count and competition level was going to be what it is though either. What I'm saying is after last night I hope people come out for the rest of the nights to support both series. And by the way I got home at 1 and was back up at 445 to be to work at 6. And am going to every night. Not for everyone I know, but I'll suffer through today until I get to the track tonight. Gonna do my part supporting having some wing racing in Indiana.
@@caidenshafer6951 Weekly racing really don't work for racers either, unless it's a big national team/driver. Most of these guys also have normal jobs. There's maybe 4 or 5 cars out of the entries that weekly didn't bother them too much. Even some of the USAC national team drivers have normal jobs.
What an awesome race. This track is a hidden gem. Brady Bacon got so very lucky not to get clobbered… but his luck sure didn’t hold.
Love the great Pat Sullivan on the call. If the highlights were exciting, it was better in person. Three more nights in Indiana!
I thought he blew it when he hopped it into the corner but he drove the wheels off and took the win.
