The 14 car did things this night that NO OTHER car did. Idk what this exactly means but the attitude & maneuverability of his car was unique only to that car. Not sure if it is the driver more than the car or vice versa? That car did things that no elses did, period.
@@jaredkinneyjr its a team effort for sure. New cars and a good crew make it easier. But it still comes down to the driver and how well they can 1. Drive 2. Communicate what they feel on the track to the crew to tweak the setup and predicting what the track does in the feature.
Corey Day did not get a qualifying time and still won the A Main 😮there’s not another driver in the world capable of digging out of a hole like that against that level of competition.
Several right rear tire issues for a few drivers tonight. Several drivers got up into the cushion in this race. Tough handling track tonight with the exception of Corey Day who mastered the handling of this track.
It's a theme at this track. It looked like the cushion built up quick. Which guys were struggling some. Then the right rears started letting go. Once that became a trend. Looked like drivers attempted to go over the cushion to keep the right rear to try to keep the temp down on that right rear before there's let go.
when Day won his 2nd race i said hed win high limit championship..you can go back and see my comment. dude is unreal. I saw him start winning at Hanford when he was 16.
@@invisible_joker7698 sorry I offended you by not giving a shit. No fuck he’s okay, it’s the fact that his wing got exploded from a chunk of clay. You seem extremely horrible to be around.
At some point, most likely yes. You’ll notice on HL, the same few guys are the ones winning also. Each series has a select number of guys who are winning too. Right now these same couple of HL guys have things figured out during this midweek money series- nothing more, nothing less. You’ll notice that most of the teams who chose to leave WoO for this? Have been just as irrelevant.
@@EdWinnota Gio, Carson Macedo, both have the skills as well. They’re just choosing to focus predominantly on WoO- where they are in contention for a title. Sheldon could… if he could find the consistency.
Day didn't even qualify. Dead last after time trials. Dug out of the depths and climbed the mountain in 1 heat race and the A Feature. Wow! Jason Meyer's stayed loyal. Steve Kent Chassis. Charley Garrett engines. Same as he raced. Too bad Huset's 1/4 million got cancelled instead of rescheduled. Day had a shot at it.
Kid is a beast! The High Limit racing has by far been the better series this yr and its not close. The only downer is Raudman behind the mic.. guy is horrible.
DAY IS SO MUCH FASTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE. NICE RACE.
That track was intense. Holy crap
the top lane turned into a rut. looked like people were trying to center the rut between their LR and RR
Whoever built and maintains Day’s engine needs to be hired. My god
That restart at 2:26 by Day from fourth to the lead was 👌👏
What Corey Day did in NARC was impressive, his success in High Limit is insane. So fun to watch.
Day is on a rail. Dude is awesome
2:27 badass run off the restart, 3 for 1
Wow
Jason Meyers has an eye for talent.
92 thousand dollars in 5 days...... Not bad young man.😊👍
Cory PAY DAY !
Corey really seems to know his car and what the setups offer him. He navigated that rough track like it was nothing.

Watched Corey win at Skagit! Kid has a lot of talent. He’s gonna have big time career.
He got 14 spots in 14 laps! That’s good!
👍 it’s a good time to be a sprint car fan
Justin Peck good run . Corey Day , one of a handful of future stars .
Future? He's "it" now
@@RegularJoes Can't argue with that .
THE FUTURE IS NOW OLD MAN!!!!!!!
He might be the best I’ve ever seen
Call him DAY-light, he ran off and left em!, EVERY restart! What an amazing week this young man is having!
I like that Nick Name Corey “Pay” Day!
7 wins and just getting better ! LFG Corey !!!
Corey Day at just 18 years of age. Looks like the next Steve Kinser if he decides to make 410 sprint car racing his main focus for decades.
This will probably be his last year in a sprint car IMO, nascrap will scoop him up .
Corey showing them how to pound the curb again. Just like Skagit. Master of the diamond move entering high drive down the hill
Upload the full race please!
Enjoy the success!!
Day pay day 🙌 driving the wheels off that car I'm a fan he's a bad ass

Yea Cole Macedo wore out his own tire
@thartley16 Yeah, he does a lot.
Let's go Peck #13
Odd to me no one can pass but Day can pass every single car

its Corey Day's world and we're just living in it.
@3:48 watch the Napa guys wing get exploded lmfao
Good eye, thank you for that.
Day kicked up that chunk of clay and it clobbered Sweets wing. 😮
and he still drove it good & beat the cheater!😂
"The Napa guy" is Brad Sweet. He's ok in a sprint car 🤷♂️.
@@invisible_joker7698 sorry I offended you by not giving a shit. No fuck he’s okay, it’s the fact that his wing got exploded from a chunk of clay. You seem extremely horrible to be around.
One thing's for sure Corey day is on fire
Pay that man!!! Corey Pay Day is a hell of a nick name!!! We’ve been waiting for a wheel man like him for a while!
Good show
Another High Limit race without an Outlaw driver winning 😅
Corey "pay - day" is kinda authentic tbh. nice.
Ok its time for a Pay Day shirt! Oh and ill have a payday bar towards that win!
Awesome race good job 👍👍
Day had a good Night
Peck has been running up front alot lately
Day Ain't Skeered!!!!
Corey Day the Destroyer!
RIP Kevin Ward and he would have been 30 right now we miss him alot.
Corey Payday Day. I can go for that. 👍👍
Young gun is on a roll!
At 3:46 restart, Sweets front wing just folded like I've never seen.
What is a stinger
That was an ass whooping. Good driving.
Will an outlaw win a HL race this year?
At some point, most likely yes. You’ll notice on HL, the same few guys are the ones winning also. Each series has a select number of guys who are winning too. Only one good enough to beat the HL crowd frequently is gravel

Day ain’t playing around!
This kid is amazing! That's all.
Nice pun.
Corey’s day in a sprint car are numbered….
The Cali Kid.
Come on peck ! Got one coming soon 😅
C-Day on another level rn holy shit!
Not a chance with how hard he drives into the turns on the cushion. The tires have to be spinning when the RR hits the cushion.
Enjoy him now while he's in a sprint car. I bet this time next year he's in the truck series.
Day's car looks like it has traction control.
I wish the track would have been watered between hot laps and qualifying so Kasey Kahne could have qualified well.
Corey Pay Day. I like it. That's going to stick.
Nobody is talking about Larson. How come? Is Corey Day better than the Larson?
Corey PayDay gonna win Skagit Nationals and maybe Knoxville too. You can bet your butt on one of those

Next year it's probably Arca and truck.
This track needs a scoreboard so bad
Kid is phenomenal, too bad he's gonna be in that 48 Hendrick car in 2 years!!!
Hooked Up
I’m starting to like Corey Day
The California kid strikes again !!!
Nice interview o there was not one. No lol
PayDAY
