    Did you use Nylok nuts to secure the wood to the transom? They will never come loose once installed...

      I don’t think that I did that but maybe. There isn’t a lot of play or vibration to really allow anything to work loose.

    Chuck you need some TotalBoat Halcyon water bases varnish, I did my CLC camper with it, top notch product

      HI Tom! you know, I have some of that product and I tried it once and maybe didn't read all the directions or something. I should experiment with it more. Your Teardrop is beautiful. saw a picture of it recently.

    Did the fiberglass drastically change the weight of the hull? Do you know what it weighs now?

      HI Ben, I probably added a bit of weight with glass resin and paint but I had also stripped off the original plastic liner (what was left of it. If I added 5-8 pounds, clearly not going to affect the performance at all. me losing 20 would help. lol. oh and I don't know what it weighs but I can still easily pick it up.

      I used TotalBoat 2:1 and thickened with TotalBoat Silica. Got it a bit too thick. Pushed it into the holes with a syringe. I made a mess and was half frustrated with myself. It worked out fine
