I'm glad you understood Kindaichi, he really tried his best with Kageyama, the fact that Kunimi says that he hasn't changed 9:32 because he was being so agressive both fisically and with his words or in 15:25 when they were extremly surprised when he simply said sorry, shows how hard it was to work for him, because it was certainly not with him. I love Kageyama, it wasn't entairly his fault and I'm happy he learned but that doesn't mean his old teammates can't still be hurt, especially if they see Kageyama, who wasn't willing to change for them, actually work as a team for someone else. Many reactors start treating the other team badly simply because they don't like Kageyama and we do when in reality is that they have every reason to think like they do and if we were in their possition we wouldn't like Kageyama either What another comment said is true, before Haikyuu men's volleyball high school clubs in Japan were in a huge decline, Hinata's situation of being the only member, of a club that was mostly considered a fan club, wasn't uncommon. After Haikyuu though, there was a boom, even with just the manga, it doubled or more (maybe even quadrupled) in members, now even their National team is high ranked, it's not an exageration to say that it's thanks to it, and they even play the OPs during matches
I think the only reason Kageyama has changed so much already is his team. He didn't feel like he could count on his old teammates so both Kageyama and his old team treated each other like shit. With his new team, he feels like he can actually rely on them because they are the kind of team that he needs. It's neither sides fault. He was just in the wrong team.
@@paige8453 yes yes, I completely agree no one was entirely at fault, although we see in many flashbacks that Kageyama didn't seem to try to acomodate to the rest of the spikers, of course we don't see everything I understand that the situation is very complex. I just concentrated on Kindaichi and the rest because it's much more common for reactors to completely dismiss them because they are not the main team, and it's sad not only because they also suffer but because reactors miss the nuance of the story, how realistic it is, not only when it comes to volleyball but also real life relationships and how hard it is to work as a team, and there are no MCs irl. So when I see someone actually getting it I am sooo happy
@@tesshh....18 to be honest I was fully on Kageyamas side when I first watched it but as I got older I understood both sides. They just didn’t mesh well as a team and that’s fine. Both sides did wrong and there is nothing wrong with admitting that

As someone with acid reflux I feel ya with the scratchy and hurt throat from the years of having it i have a cough that will never go away thanks to the damage of throwing up acid so much
Just found this channel thanks to these videos and I have been binging hard tonight. I don’t mind the coughing at all, the relatively uncut style with all the pauses to talk makes it feel more natural which is a plus in my book. I hope you continue to enjoy Haikyu, it’s one of my favorite shows since I’m a big sports fan.
I honestly think a major part of the reason Kagayama was mature enough to apologise about his missed toss was because he knows he's completely responsible for how the play goes if he tosses to Hinata, which is exactly how he wants it to be. In their quicks, the only variable left to Hinata is to commit 100% to the spike, and even Kagayama knows that Hinata ALWAYS commits 100% to the spike. So in the event that Hinata misses, there really is no option for Kagayama but to take responsibility for a bad toss.
It's wonderful to see Tanaka and Kageyama (in his own way) help Hinata overcome his nervousness even if it was just after Hinata served straight into Kageyama's head. Oikawa's entrance is great, I love how the show immediately establishes his presence with his fans shrieking and the change in music, like a freaking rockstar.
5:30 Everyone is different, but I've had a similar issue. For me it was needing to sing in the church praise band after recovering from things that are similar rather than a job that involves a lot of talking. What works for me is warm weak tea with a lot of honey. I got this advice from the old choir director and it works wonders.
Man these episodes go by so quick does anyone know why Alicia is only doing 1 ep instead of 2 like she usually does for most other shows she’s don? I’m assuming it’s just work load if that’s the case then fair enough. Good reaction nonetheless.
@@thedarkemissary Idk alicia doesn’t come off as the type to care about views that much. Also the only show she’s doing right now that is consistently double views is one piece & mha which is obvious why (bigger fandom). So I don’t think it’s that others have said it’s just because it’s a shorter series which I agree with.
Haikyuu revived volleyball as a sport in japan btw, that's not an exaggeration either
as a teacher and as an eldest sibling, my heart goes for Daichi every time he has to deal with his team 🥲
The "team of misfits" trope is fun and all... until you realize there has to be one poor overworked voice of reason for all those misfits.

Cause the other shows literally get twice as many views.
Possibly because Haikyu is a much shorter show than One Piece or Adventure Time, no real need to push out double eps.
probably cuz it's a shorter series compared to the other series
