Cis/straight/white boomer woman here. I don't see a downside to accepting someone's gender identity either. If a Josh Seiter "fools" me, so what? I'm supposed to suddenly hate anyone who's trans because of that? Nah. I'd rather be fooled by the occasional conservative knucklehead than abandon the whole trans community (which would include some truly marvelous people in my life)! Having boundaries doesn’t mean I hate someone. If I don’t want to have sex with you or I’m not attracted to you in that way because you’re not a man (I’m gay) that doesn’t mean I ‘hate’ women. And you can ‘identify’ as a man all you want but that won’t change the fact that you are a woman and it won’t change my sexual orientation. And sorry to be blunt but a piece of plastic is not the same as a real penis on a real man and no amount of homophobic bullying will change that.

"no its just ironic, i wear dresses and make up but in an ironic way, i enjoy and embrace my feminine side BUT IN AN IRONIC WAY, I FEEL PRETTY BUT ITS IRONIC I SWEAR"
I hate when Internet randos call their shenanigans "social experiments". EXPERIMENT?? Girl, WHERE? Is the methodology in the room with us? What are the variables?? Results and conclusion?? Riddled with wild bias. And all of this for what? Because a trans woman broke up with him 😭 Embarrassing.
From my experience as a digital SWer, you’re spot on about the autogynophilia. I had clients, cis men, who were aroused by cross-dressing. They oftentimes referred to themselves as s*ssies. These clients enjoyed fetish play that included “forced feminization” or even being coerced/forced (consentual nonconsent) into s*x acts with other men. These clients are masochistic and view femininity as inherently degrading. I stopped doing feminization play because the idea of femininity or womanhood being inherently degrading doesn’t sit well with my spirit.
I'm not disagreeing with you here, but I think a lot of people who enjoy these kinks and enjoy sissy content are using it to explore gender in a safe environment. Trying to grapple with the idea that your whole gender is not what you always thought it was is a huge, life changing thing that can be difficult to face. Grappling with a new kink is much easier. It's like drag in that way. Iknow at least a few people who started exploring their gender via sissy stuff and later came out as trans, same as there are many drag queens who started their careers thinking they were cis men, only to later realise they're trans women.
@@ed6705 I also would like to add that sometimes it can be a way to cope with the pressure of being so manly all the time and escape from a cisheteronormative society by breaking those social norms with a person that you trust, I think that it's more the relationship people have with the kink that can be toxic and not the act itself i've had some experience with men that do this themselves and the explanation I got is that it felt safe to be treated as girl by their dom while in other contexts being perceived as girly could make them feel unconfortable because of the ridicule they're affraid of suffering in society, engaging in a different gender presentation in the bedroom helped them feel more confident and less threatened by other people's opinions on their masculinity during the day
@@coolkorners181 huh that's actually kinda true. I'm a woman and I love being dom but I'm really afraid to be anything similar to that irl because I have trouble seeing boundaries (probably autistic) and that's my cope to not overstep.

unfortunately people like him LIVE by doing so it gives their lives meaning, same can be said of TERFs (or FARTs, Feminist-Appropriating Regressive Transphobes) and it seems most conservatives that swallow such propaganda even worse that much of the U.S doesn't care to learn, and that the UK actively disregards any study that disproves their crusade (eg, the recent ''cass report'' that multiple scientific bodies have debunked and refuted, and called into question the inherent bias in those running the study who changed it's parameters before it was completed)
I get the impression that the audience for these sorta things typically don’t even have degrees at all. So him getting one is supposed to do all the heavy lifting
@@KatBlaqueThat makes a lot of sense. I asked for sources from a person here on YT on body size and race. They gave me TWO non-peer reviewed journals. Who are they trying to fool? 😭💀
The thing about trolls is that no matter how people react to them, they view it as a win. In this case people were kind and accepting which means he gets to call them dumb and gullible. “Haha I fooled them!” If people rejected his claim and accused him of lying, then he gets to call them hypocrites. “So much for the tolerant left!”
exactly, this is what it was really about. if it was any kind of "experiment", then the topic of it was his ability to get people to react. because that *feels* like having power and influence..... to an insecure person.
I'm confused as to what exactly the gag was supposed to be. That ppl were accepting & respectful of Josh's fake transition? That ppl decided to be kind? Like this for me (much like that other girl who faked being pregnant & having a miscarriage) just makes him look so unhinged & insanely cruel. What did he expect for ppl online to do?😂😂😂
Well, there's certainly an aspect to conservatism that says kindness is stupid and weak and foolish, except when it's directed at the Right People, the insiders, People Like Us. I guess "I was mocking them but they were nice to me" is peak conservative humor.
I don’t know. He kept saying he fooled the left, but the only people I saw fooled were conservatives and their comments section. I kept responding that he was obviously trolling. Although I do see the point he was making, and recognize that what he was saying was real shit “trans lesbians” have been saying online for real. He’s still a creep, though.
Yeah, as if people online can tell if you're faking it or not. You can literally lie about everything, and if you're not well known, you'll probably get away with it.
8:29 This is a misogynist. Period. The way he talks about ‘feminine’ things, the way he puts his ‘trans voice’ together breaths that he thinks of women as less- less intelligent, less worthy of attention; and essentially less than. This man is revolting.
Yep! Misogyny is at the core of this and that’s why they mostly focus on trans women and when they focus on trans men they’re always confused women who should be having children.
I agree, but this is also the same criticism people had towards Dylan mulvany. Yet enough people defended that as well. This attention seeking behavior is perpetuated by how the internet works.
@@RawrItsJuul I agree with those specific criticisms, but most "criticism" i saw of Dylan was just people accusing her of being a predator, and also arguing that ~real~ women would _never_ engage in potentially harmful stereotypes in order to sort of express their gender and be seen as a proper woman. People suddenly realize how weird gender is when someone does it "the wrong way"
@actualgoblin I've seen many people upset and talking about how Dylan was wearing woman face and making a mockery of them. Dylan was very much acting like what he thinks stereotypical women act like. "Walking around the forest in my little hiking boots and my hiking shorts", screaming hysterically at a bug and falling to the ground, talking about his experiences as a woman as "crying emotionally", the "women" have bulges. I think people believe Dylan sooner is because he already looked like a Twink and more feminine, but in behavior there is no difference between this Josh guy and Dylan.
I really appreciate the distinction you made between cross-dressing and being trans because it's such a difficult thing for people who aren't terminally online to wrap their heads around. I find nothing but joy in my femininity and womanhood, it's why I wanted to transition because I couldn't find that same happiness as a feminine man. I don't feel degraded or lesser from how I look or dress, I just feel like myself and that makes me happy because I spent so long trying to find that, getting close but never quite grasping it until I started to transition. I don't even really "pass" but people still treat me like they would any other woman and it's because of that happiness, I think. This Josh person seems to really want to just hang on to whatever speck of relevance that seems to have already passed him by at all costs and he's airing out his dirty laundry to do so because he can't handle being a mediocre man.
My first thought with that "feminine health" video was "oh, the pink top kinda works with his skin tone." Also, i feel like even when he TRIES to do a bit to make people mad, the lesson is actually really important: being aware of prostate health.
Saying wearing makeup is womanface when you were literally on the bachelorette, where you had to compete against 24 other men who are all wearing makeup (because TV), is so insane to me
Reminds me of one who'd said that the message of a trans woman winning a beauty contest was that "women, men can be better than you even at being women". Makeup, beauty, winning a beauty context... truly, the essence of womanhood 🤡 the misogyny is so clear. They accuse trans people of thinking womanhood is just a Feminine stereotype, but once again the call is coming from inside the house
While sitting for a televised show, and knowing damn well all the men on television also wear makeup otherwise they']d look like a sack of potatoes left to rot behind a chair somewhere. As thought nobody sees their delusion.
bro literally worked in tv and got pretty'd up for it and he of all people uses that stupid line when he knows better. the grift couldn't be any more transparent if it were made of glass.
Listening to conservative men talk about topics like gender feels like grown men having a board meeting about and discussing the intricacies of a baby's first book about farm animals
"Well gentlemen, today's first point of discussion in is our quarterly sales statistics, and second up is the essential matter if cows say Mooo! or Muuuuh!"
He and Steven Crowder both did this. They seem very enthusiastic to wear dresses and makeup any chance they get, and then act like it's all for trolling. I really enjoy your perspective on crossdressing cis men and how so many of them have these conflicted feelings, how so many of them are conservative, and how so many are transphobic. Your experiences in dealing with them sound exhausting.
If I remember well, Crowder also said at some point that he had a "bisexual phase" in college. It seems to me that he might be quite repressed in that regard as well.
@hinasakukimi no, all homophobes have had gay thoughts. Might be bi and not gay, hence the reason they think it's a choice. But every homophobe has had sexual thoughts about the same sex for sure. That's why they get so scared
@@orionishi6737 are you serious? maybe like an "emotional" homophobe that has a strong instinctual physical/emotional reaction to gay/bi people (of their own gender), but there are plenty of people who have just grown up with awful values and believe in those values because they believe what they were taught growing up (for example), there are tons of ways to be homophobic
I love the new format: leaning in to the BDSM personality/aesthetics, starting with a story from your personal life and using it as a way to understand a larger story, the reaction phone! You have made some absolutely PROFOUND observations about cis men-especially conservative cis men-who are cross dressers and find the idea of dressing like a woman and being "feminine" as "inherently degrading." You are doing god's work. Thank you so much for this video and all of your content!!!
The obvious giveaway in his first video is him suggesting that there's no difference between cis women and trans women, something that no trans person believes, but that transphobes seem to think trans people believe. I didn't guess that he was faking before because I wasn't even aware of his existence, and I'm guessing neither were most people.
@@chrisbfreelanceNo they do not. The simple act of transitioning gives a trans woman a different life experience to a cis woman. While there are many experiences all women (whether cis or trans) share, no trans woman is claiming her experience as a woman is exactly the same as a cis woman's

I've noticed that when certain dudes hate on a certain group of women it's almost always because they've been rejected by them and they can't stand the slight to their ego.

i was so distracted by the burger king cup in the feminine health tiktok because i was like "the way it's placed this looks like a burger king sponsorship" but then i remembered burger king probably doesn't know he exists
It's a relief you clarified not all crossdressers are like that. You had me at first ngl. I am a crossdressing man (well, I may be somewhat gender fluid but I tend to stick with masculine pronouns and a male name) but I do not have a kink from it, and I wear women's clothing because I just do prefer presenting myself as being more feminine, and hate looking masculine. I very much accept and verify trans women as women
Obv kink shaming is bad, but imho, as a person who hangs out in kink spaces, there’s a certain subsection of humiliation kink and forced feminization that screams transmisogyny Oh no I’m in a pretty dress and doing the laundry! How humiliating! It kind of begs the question: what exactly is humiliating ? Is being a woman inherently lesser than? Is it the fact that you’re actually doing chores for once in your life? What peeves me also is how the same people lump feminization with barnyard animals. Like wtf does that say about their perception of women 😭💀
Hard agree. I'm a femme trans man who is a sub and it honestly makes me very uncomfortable when people in kink spaces talk that way to me. I hate being talked to as if what I enjoy is supposed to be humiliating (plus when it comes to transmascs/trans men, "force fem" usually comes with "detrans" added on).
Kinkshaming and analysis of kink shouldn't be conflated, in my opinion. If you do race play, for instance, it's really important that you can acknowledge what about it HAS to be play and what about it is drawn from bigotry because if you don't, you're just being racist in a sexual setting. I know that kink can lead to a lot of harmful shame, but that goes in both directions. If your kink involves some kinds of bigotry, you can end up harming partners if you're not careful and if you don't navigate that properly either. It's not kink-shaming to point out when a dom is really bad at being a dom. When they're reckless, when they ignore boundaries, when they bring in play that wasn't cleared or they know the sub doesn't like. We shouldn't endure that shit, and we shouldn't endure people who refuse to acknowledge bigotry inherent to the kink that is literally just bigotry as a kink. It doesn't mean they are an irredeemable person, it means they need to understand their kink better and respect other people around them more.
I never really thought of it like that, you made me think. I always thought of it as being forced to be something that they are not, so being forced to dress as a woman is something they generally don't do, so it would be humiliating to be forced to be something you feel you are not, to me, I thought, it wasn't about being a woman that was humiliating, it is a man, who identifies as a man, who doesn't dress feminine, being forced to dress in a way and do things that is not typically them, or not considered stereotypically them, doing things that are stereotypically something different to what they identify as, while being forced dressed like that too, would indeed increase the feelings. And doing chores that stereotypically, a woman does while forced dressed as a woman, means it would get them into the headspace of being a woman, so more humiliating due to them identifying as a man, so I thought it wasn't the woman aspect that is humiliating, I always thought it is the fact they are being forced to be something they don't actually identify as. That would be humiliating to some people. Maybe that is why barnyard animals were lumped together. I always thought it was about being forced to be something you don't feel you are, or identify as. Maybe I was wrong in thinking this, I don't know, but that is how I have always seen it. To me, forced feminization's humiliating aspects, play with the stereotypes and kinda enforces them, but in a way that still plays with them. I always thought, it would be the same for a very feminine female, who dressed very feminine, acted very feminine, to be forced to dress very masculine and do stereotypical masculine things. It would stir up feelings of humiliation, I felt, as that isn't who they feel they are. So, I didn't feel it was about the fact of being a female that was humiliating, just the fact of being forced to be something they don't feel they are...🤷♀ Idk..

"trans women are men who wear dresses, wear make-up, and get off to the idea of being a woman, it doesnt make them a woman" Me, a trans woman who rarely wears dresses, doesnt wear makeup, and is asexual: "okay"
That's why Kat's theory made sense: if we replace "trans women" in the sentence by "Josh Seder/cross dressers", we have solved this particular issue and can all move on with our lives!
As a cis woman who is a biology nerd, yes estrogen causes intestinal cramps. Whether you want to call it a "period" or not is probably debatable, but it's directly causal. The uterus and intestines are both smooth muscle; the only smooth muscle we have in our bodies. The hormonal signals that make the uterus contract are also going to make intestines contract. It happens to me every month. It also happens to my trans wife now that she's started HRT. So, I'm not gonna say you should call it a period; it might be most accurate to just call it hormone cramps, but it's the effects of estrogen and prostaglandins on smooth muscle. (Guy mocking it is annoying, but whatever.)
for me (a trans man), it's the way that so many people say "it can't be that bad", "they're just exaggerating", "they're just oversensitive and need to suck it up", "there's no way that the pain and mood swings they say happen to them every month is actually happening"... that makes me refer to the hormonal imbalance trans women go through as periods. because that's exactly how people treat periods with cis women, lol.
As a cis woman, I kinda disagree. If we're making the comparison to black face, then what he was doing was trans face. It was a deliberately cruel mockery of specifically trans women, not women as a whole.
Sissies online have a tendency to steal images of actual transgender sex workers so that's likely why. I had a transition timeline video I posted YEARS ago and they downloaded it to upload it on a sissy page. They'll add misgendering captions because it turns them on

So I don't know if you saw this while looking him up but Josh has done this/ similar things for other lgbtq+ communities. He made a huge deal about being bi and being the "first" bi bachelor's contestant only to then come out saying bi people don't exist but then after a few more controversies (stunts for attention) he came out as pan and dropped an OF but was talking shit about the men who bought it and said stuff about how disgusting sex with a man was next he jumped into the feederism community and gained some weight so people would send him money like all his other stunts after a while he lost the weight and said it was an experiment to show people don't care about health just their fetish and how easy it is to get into shape (think like those trainers who gained weight to experience what their clients go through). The thing he did before this trans experiment was him seemingly trying to into politics and I think he saw he got a lot of conservative attention and I won't be surprised if he goes down the conservative influencer route to make money.
Half-ass bigotry just looks like desperation. Cause his "sample size" was shit plus the queer pple that interacted with him told him to live his truth, and finally, he reveals the hoax to mostly shame makeup... none of this required five months of cross dressing.

Thank you for explaining something that I've had a hard time wrapping my head around! I'm a straight cisgender woman, and a previous partner I had was a straight cisgender man who enjoyed wearing women's clothing (especially MY clothing, and especially receiving oral sex while cross-dressing). Naively, I thought he would be an open-minded breath of fresh air. He ended up being the most misogynistic man I've ever been with! I was shocked when he refused to wear condoms and insisted that I go on birth control. I told him I didn't want to mess with my endocrine system and troubleshoot different birth controls and their side effects. He claimed this was transphobic and I must by extension be opposed to hormonal gender affirming care. He would sometimes wear my clothing out in public and it never phased me until a friend pointed out that when he did, he would carry himself and speak in this ditzy "dumb blond" persona, giggling and batting his eyes a lot. I couldn't unsee it, and it irked me, but I was too self-conscious to say anything about it. I was terrified I might unknowingly be a transphobe. Or at least, be accused of that and not know enough to argue otherwise. He also tried to keep the clothes I had lent him during our relationship, after our breakup. I came by at the agreed-upon time to pick up my things and he handed me a bag conspicuously missing all my clothes he'd borrowed. When I asked for them he threw a really scary temper tantrum (BIG dude) that made me cry and call a friend to witness for my safety. Mostly, I try not to think about him now. Hearing your description of your experience with (some!) cross-dressing men was the first time I've thought about him in a long time, and for once it wasn't angering or confusing! It gave me some clarity, and also a good laugh. Hearing how these guys behave in interactions with trans women also sheds light on how comfortable he was using trans women in his narrative to control me. They are frustratingly nonsensically misogynistic against ⭐All Women 💞

I'm genderfluid, and it took me a long time to figure out my relationship with gender. I find it really funny when I hear the argument, "But what if they change their minds???" So? Sometimes my gender changes on an hourly basis. People change. They grow to know themselves and how to articulate their identity. Just because *you* need an instruction manual on how to perform your assigned gender doesn't mean the rest of us want one.
omg as a sociologist it's so embarassing to see him say he studied sociology and then pull THIS shit. yes, makeup is mostly viewed as a part of feminine social role, but gender is fluid, meaning it can manifest in different forms. and it can be a part of femininity, and can be a part of masculinity - for instance, there is a TON of research on non-conventional/non-hegemonic masculinity (like homosexual masculinity, soft masculinity, etc.) which might include use of makeup in certain social situations. I did my bachelor thesis in the prespective of gender studies and read up on this quite a lot and demonstration of conventionally feminine traits can even yield benefits for men in some situations (e.g. caring fathers - they demonstrate the parental qualities more typically seen in mothers but often get a lot of praise and social rewards for being more involved and caring for their children than "traditional" fathers)

My favorite thing was when someone said that my (late-in-life) transition was autogynephilia. But I'm a transmasculine individual. So .... I dunno man, some people are just ... not ok.
People just don’t know what words mean lmao. Maybe this is an argument for teaching linguistics or some kind of rudimentary classics in schools again, I was made to systematically learn Greek and Latin roots in high school biology and it’s actually made me a stronger reader too.
I find this amusing as a post op trans woman with autoandrophilia. Sometimes I get sexually aroused if I imagine myself as a muscular dude with a big dick. I even got a packer and packing undies for when I am feeling extra butch.
I came across this random website that talked about AGP and HSTS, and then was like "There's not currently a known one for MtF" which I found so funny as a (mostly) gay trans man.
I feel like this is his desperate attempt to regain his 'masculinity' after dating a trans woman by degrading her sexuality. The same way when you rejected dude and he calls you a bitch and not pretty anyway. It's giving fragile ego.
josh seiter treated his social experiment as a college essay that you eventually turn in for a grade. it's like he tried to appeal to people who arent even trying to understand what the transgender experience is like. it's just a grift and we should see that this is just a little boy in an adult body.
This guy managed to live his crossdressing dreams for five full months and then pivot right back into being adored by conservatives. It says a lot about him and conservatives that this happened, but not much about anyone else.
19:16 for me it was the hair. I'm a chica with disablities who just cut her hair today cuz too painful for shower when too long,(I might be hyperfocused right now on hair is what I'm saying lol) so just from the thumbnail. You need a LOT of upkeep to keep hair that short and the style to me has always screamed um, hypermasculine conservative male trying too hard to me, given the other details in his outfit.
my thoughts exactly! it's such an uneducated parody that screams "I'm taking that off when i stop filming" and it's not even that he should've let his hair grow, but the fact that he didn't change anything about it - even cutting it shorter would be more convincing. His character was very contradictory. It was a very binary trans woman, putting a lot of stock on having the same experiences as cis women, but also rocking a beard and a very masculine haircut, mixing in some very left field enby discourse... just an obvious lady ballers style parody
@@KatBlaqueBingo! When I first started my transition I grew my hair out. Sometime after getting bottom surgery I shaved my head full cue ball. I have done a shaved head or short hair a bunch since then. I am trying to grow it out again, but I don't know how long I will go before deciding to shave it off again.
It's so funny how people will make the jokes trans people made about themselves on livejournal 20 years ago and they think they are SO original. You will never beat marginalized ppl at making fun of themselves.

As a leftist trans man, I never thought he was a girl, I just didn't care enough to do anything. If he said something like, idk I'm making my cat vegan, I'd react because it's abuse. But dressing in ugly clothes? Nuh uh
I can't think of any downsides to just trusting someone about their gender either. His whole thing was "Gotcha! Bet you feel stupid right now, huh? I said I was a woman and you believed it!" and it's like...ok? He might as well have lied about his favorite color and then called us gullible for believing it. I'd rather risk looking like a fool to conservatives (who would never approve of me anyway) than risk hurting someone over something that's none of my business.
Absolutely agree. I always try to treat people the way they present themselves to me. Reminds me of when a beautiful trans woman came to the customer service counter at the grocery store where I was working. And after I helped her my coworkers kept coming up to me and whispering “you know that’s a man, right?” Awful. It’s like so many cis people want to prove that they aren’t “fooled.” 😢
both homophobia and transphobia are literally just rooted in misogyny. being a gay man is bad because it’s feminine… being a trans women or gnc AMAB person is bad because it’s a “failure of masculinity”. i honestly could argue that most bigotry is rooted simply in either white supremacy or misogyny and understanding that really makes all bigoted talking points all the more bigoted.
The “once dated MBH storyline” was a delightful and totally clarifying plot twist! These conflicted CDs or closeted gay men who date trans women so often secretly think they are superior to them. I’m sure this “social experiment” is just a sad little confused boy trying to get revenge by negating a whole community’s existence.
As comical as this situation can be at time you can obviously tell that he is trying to get people to target trans creators like Dylan Mulvaney which is incredibly fucked up. I'm not really a fan of Dylan Mulvaney's content but she shouldn't get hate for just being trans and putting her story out there.
This video was hard to watch. I'm glad you were able to take it with a grain of salt and in a jovial manner, but the fact that he spent months mocking trans women and is now pretending like its some big gotcha is mind blowing. LIke. There are so many more things you could make stupid "social commentary" on. Trans people shouldnt be some big ballot issue. We live in a society. Everyone plays into roles. It should not matter what people are deciding to do with thier lives when it effects NO ONE. If people even cared half as much about the corruption of billionaires the world might actually be a better place.
I had a brief interaction with a trans woman in a bathroom. She was dressed in a traditional and old fashioned way with a flowery shirtwaist dress and scarf. I was startled when I met her gaze because she did not have a feminine face, it just wasn’t what I expected. Other than the brief confusion over the masculine face dichotomy I met her gaze and held it for a moment letting her know I saw her and accepted her like you would any other person you acknowledge in a public place. She looked so insecure, uncomfortable, and vulnerable. I hope she has found the acceptance she deserves and I am so worried about her and others in our current political climate. Why would accepting someone else on their own terms be bad? How is that owning the left?
I think he wanted to be told he is disgusting and be dog pilled on therefore he have a reason to repress himself further into the closet- if people are accepting, and or don’t care- then why is he repressing himself? Why is he denying himself the life he want to live if people don’t really care. He goes to people to confirm his own disgust (maybe fetish ) to not be who is he, instead of confronting why he chooses to waste his life not being who he is But, I think people who criticize others for accepting others at face value.. is weird and strange, because we are taught to be kind and respectful. So, if we are those things then we are weak minded people,.okay girl
Back in the yee ol' times, CD's were the biggest tr*nny chasers around. I would constantly get the most disgusting messages from them. It's kind of ironic because people portray trans women as predatory, when we are usually the ones be preyed on. MySpace was wild with chasers in the 2000's. I could write a whole book on the subject lol

As an actual cross dresser, I have to say: a cis person will not be comfortable going out expressing themselves as the opposite gender if they weren’t into it sexually. It is so mentally and socially uncomfortable a lot of the time, that being into has to overpower all that discomfort. He did the makeup the uncomfortable looking dresses, it’s way too much fucking effort for 5 MONTHS to be a bit. He’s definitely into it 😭.
Literally what I was thinking. Not as a cross-dresser myself, but as one who has known many. I literally don’t care about this man at all, but I do hope he finds peace with himself.
He needs therapy so he can be introduced to himself in whatever form he will be happy in. There seems to be a wall between who he is and who he really wants to be and he doesn't strike me as someone who can work through that on his own.
i dont think ALL cross dressers do it for sexual reasons. some people just like the clothes they like. some definitely do it for a fetish, but some guys just like women's clothing, and some women like to wear men's clothing. its just their sense of style.
I can see many ways beyond sexual gratification cis women would be comfortable being seen as men and I can think of a few other ways men could enjoy presenting more femme (especially if it includes how Josh turned out in drag while doing his "experiment") although I wouldn't say it applies that much to STRAIGHT cis guys. I just think that when guys like Josh are doing it, especially considering his record... that's suspicious af
i had a best friend that dated someone that came out and began their transition into womanhood as they were dating. my friend told me that she felt that her partner’s love towards her felt like envy. i went to visit this friend and we ran into their ex at a restaurant she works at. my ex-friend made the choice to stay to prove something and ordered food and talked shit until the cows came home, deadnaming her ex. i had taken a lot from this friend on this trip, and i finally stood up and told her it wasn’t right. she didn’t take kindly to being challenged and shut me down. i texted her about it after i left and she acted like i was the problem and we haven’t talked since. transphobia is a disease
I heard about this like two days ago on Treads I think. It's infuriating to think men will go that far to try to prove our lives a joke. This the kind of thing people delete us about.
The thing that gets me about this guy, and a lot of other people like him, is that no matter what you do, they will think they won. You act nice to them, they will go on about how they fooled you. You call out their behavior, they will say things like so much for the tolerant left. If you ignore them they will always have another person to get a reaction from. You tell other people not to react, and they will celebrate because you care. Its stupidity at its most frustrating.
Yes, at the 25:45 mark, talking about autogynephilia. That's exactly what I thought as well and in fact, I believe that the researcher who originally wrote about this (Ray Blanchard, I believe), who stated he went to a gay bar and talked to transgender women, actually talked to crossdressers but believed them to be transgender, and then based all his "research" on this error.
Yes and that’s also my theory. Because the reality is many transgender women do not exist in contexts where they are openly trans. I didn’t for years. Only recently started to go to gay bars. Cross dressers are much easier to find by comparison and the easiest way to find them is via sex websites
He gets a lot of the terminology mostly correct? (Not the concepts) so is he paying a lot of attention to trans women without respecting them? Is this chaser behaviour?

That is an excellent point, usually I'm the first to get on people about that being an etymology nerd but I didn't think of how bad the interview was for not being clear about it. Although these days most transvestites (cross dressers, vestis meaning clothes) identity as trans in some way. Transsexual used to be in the binary sense, MTF or FTM and TERFs still follow this, but now trans more generally means transgender, identifying as any sort of outside the cisgender binary (including FTM and MTF.)

So spot on. People’s kinks tend to be the opposite of their irl politics

@@ed6705 I also would like to add that sometimes it can be a way to cope with the pressure of being so manly all the time and escape from a cisheteronormative society by breaking those social norms with a person that you trust, I think that it's more the relationship people have with the kink that can be toxic and not the act itself
i've had some experience with men that do this themselves and the explanation I got is that it felt safe to be treated as girl by their dom while in other contexts being perceived as girly could make them feel unconfortable because of the ridicule they're affraid of suffering in society, engaging in a different gender presentation in the bedroom helped them feel more confident and less threatened by other people's opinions on their masculinity during the day

Makeup, beauty, winning a beauty context... truly, the essence of womanhood 🤡 the misogyny is so clear. It doesn’t shock me that a man that’s dated trans women is now on a hate train against them because she didn’t want his stupid ass. When some men get rejected they get angry even with cis women so yeah that definitely sounds about right 😑
I've noticed that when certain dudes hate on a certain group of women it's almost always because they've been rejected by them and they can't stand the slight to their ego.

Obv kink shaming is bad, but imho, as a person who hangs out in kink spaces, there’s a certain subsection of humiliation kink and forced feminization that screams transmisogyny
Oh no I’m in a pretty dress and doing the laundry!
Louder for the people in the back!
@@Nat_778felt as another femme transmasc person

(Guy mocking it is annoying, but whatever.)
those are not the only smooth muscle in the body
Thank you! Its so weird that people insist that hormones have no effect on this, when that what they literally do!
Great now everytime my stomach hurts I'm going to think I'm being poisoned by estrogen
for me (a trans man), it's the way that so many people say "it can't be that bad", "they're just exaggerating", "they're just oversensitive and need to suck it up", "there's no way that the pain and mood swings they say happen to them every month is actually happening"... that makes me refer to the hormonal imbalance trans women go through as periods. because that's exactly how people treat periods with cis women, lol.

I did my bachelor thesis in the prespective of gender studies and read up on this quite a lot and demonstration of conventionally feminine traits can even yield benefits for men in some situations (e.g. caring fathers - they demonstrate the parental qualities more typically seen in mothers but often get a lot of praise and social rewards for being more involved and caring for their children than "traditional" fathers)

both homophobia and transphobia are literally just rooted in misogyny. being a gay man is bad because it’s feminine… being a trans women or gnc AMAB person is bad because it’s a “failure of masculinity”. i honestly could argue that most bigotry is rooted simply in either white supremacy or misogyny and understanding that really makes all bigoted talking points all the more bigoted.

Yep!
In my time CD's had music on them. (alright i'll see myself out)

I feel for the transwoman who dated him... nobody wants a "social experiment" level spiteful ex 😅
I think he wanted to be told he is disgusting and be dog pilled on therefore he have a reason to repress himself further into the closet- if people are accepting, and or don’t care- then why is he repressing himself? Why is he denying himself the life he want to live if people don’t really care. He goes to people to confirm his own disgust (maybe fetish ) to not be who is he, instead of confronting why he chooses to waste his life not being who he is
But, I think people who criticize others for accepting others at face value.. is weird and strange, because we are taught to be kind and respectful. So, if we are those things then we are weak minded people,.okay girl
Or that's his kink.

As a cross dresser, nope! I'm not into it sexually, I just enjoy cross dressing
i dont think ALL cross dressers do it for sexual reasons. some people just like the clothes they like. some definitely do it for a fetish, but some guys just like women's clothing, and some women like to wear men's clothing. its just their sense of style.
What a shame 😢
I heard about this like two days ago on Treads I think. It's infuriating to think men will go that far to try to prove our lives a joke. This the kind of thing people delete us about.
Their loser behavior makes them the joke. We see you, we appreciate you, and we're fighting with you
Indeed it's quite insidious. I'm not trance, but this is heinous
Yes.
Yeah
What is a chaser?
@@phoenixc7245chasers are (usually) cis ppl that fetishize and sexualize trans ppl. In my experience they tend to have transphobic ideas of what a trans person is and sometimes believe they can ‘turn’ trans ppl cis and are very dehumanizing to trans ppl

I'm just so exhausted of people confusing trans women, drag queens, and crossdressers 🙄🙄🙄
In this case it isn't confusion, it's an agenda
Im so glad you decided to tackle this fool. As a woman who transitioned 40yrs ago, I knew that he was pretending from the very beginning. He just poured fuel on a fire that's already raging.
I used to work a sex line as a dominatrix and so many straight men would call to fulfill a degradation and forced feminization kink. Maybe this worked or not, but I would make the scene into an empowering as a woman fantasy and other women loving them as a woman.
I couldn't get into the mindset of degrading someone as a woman
