I really like these in-depth looks where the riders explain what they used to ride, what they ride now, why they changed specific parts, and how that worked out for them. Much more interesting and helpful to watch these ones than some of the others who are just like "oh, I dunno what it is, whatever it came with, I guess. I just ride bikes" and don't really offer quite as much detailed insight.
Absolute . Tbh its not wrong to explain your preference. If you think that people dont care , youre wrong , people do take the input of your preferences and experiment it on their bikes . Source makes the best bike check by far Z
Taller people tend to prefer longer frames. Someone 6'2 would might prefer a 21" top tube. Honestly I'm 6' and actually prefer 20.5. But I'm no pro i just prefer flat 360's with it. Him being 5'8 going with 20.75 makes perfect sense.
Marsh/Giant did the 1 inch bar clamp years ago on some of their BMX bikes. It’s a gimmick. If you sand the anodizing out of the inside of your bar clamps on a normal 7/8 bar clamp stem you won’t have problems with your bars slipping. I suppose it could possibly make the bars themself stronger with the larger diameter tubing in the clamping area.
I disagree about what he said about the Cinema FX2 Freecoster hub, probably he said "it is a beautiful perfectly built rim, strong as hell, sturdy as hell" just to support Garret Renolds, I bought the complete wheel set (front & back wheels Garret Renolds signature with FX2 Freecoster hub), they dont hold long enough, it started shacking after 3 months of riding, they require regular wheel truing, even the middle axel where you tight the nuts on the frame bent I guess due to grinding, although I dont do big tricks, I only do 50/50 grinds & bunnyhop 180, thats it., I am not against it although I am still riding it but this is my experience with it.
My set has been absolutely amazing and I’m pretty rough on my stuff, haven’t even gone it to get it re trued as I was supposed to and I just tighten the spokes myself (I have to do that with any other wheel aswell) just part of the game .

Van gotta sonic burger 🍔 sponsor?
I like the tread on the tires but I'd prefer them in a 2.25... I'm not a big fan of 2.4s.

It's not a gimmick. Larger clamping diameter almost entirely eliminates bar slip. Your bars don't slip because you don't do roof drops.
Don’t tell me you’re running one of those set ups? 😂.

Did Van get a Sonic deal?!
Chain?
Probably cult 510 chain. Standard single speed

That must've been an awkward one considering 2010 lol
As a pro Dak can improve bmx geometry as a whole for all street people$!
Im sorry but those pedals are the furthest thing from “strong” 💀 i’ve seen at least 10 ppl completely SNAP those.
That chomo mustache has gotta go! 😂
Why he ask he’s height for hahaha
