From what i thought Tom was playing this old man with the cane, it must be old man Jenkins, then later on he reappeared as Patchy the Pirate but when the show was almost ending. I saw old man Jenkins on stage then Patchy landed down from the ceiling, i was like Tom Kenny was never old man Jenkins, he was played by different actor all along
Why has SpongeBob stayed so popular? Well there are multiple reasons. It's fan base and the viewership is still high. SpongeBob started around the end of the 3 year cut off period. This was a time where they would cut shows off after 3 seasons. SpongeBob was actually on it's 2nd or 3rd season when this was cut off. If they didn't get rid of is SpongeBob would of been cut off. That was the same with Fairly Odd Parents. Now nic does more then 3 seasons in there shows when they do well. Nickelodeon is also making much much more money now after they did this and plan on bringing back a lot of older shows to give them a chance.
