Great pitch. Respect. I remember pitching around 18 years old and the only left to right pitch i knew back then was called a screwball. It felt like it would be hard on the arm long term.
@@SuperAmazingJared Must have been bad mechanics. I turned my hand and arm over a little. Got good movement but if i emulate that right now vs fastball, slider or 12 to 6 curve motion i only feel a little twinge in my elbow turning it over.

Call me crazy but with all these pitchers blowing their arms out, the Knuck will make a prevent comeback. Much easier on the arm and still provides some crazy break. It is slower and pretty hard to throw effectively.

@@Nobody2day553there absolutely is. A sinker is just a 2-seam fastball that generally has both a downward and arm-side lateral movement. It's rarely this nasty though. To call this pitch simply a 2-seamer would do it a disservice

That's a nice pitch.....but unfortunately it can't be duplicated every pitch. Most big league pitchers have the ability to show really nasty movement at times. The great ones can do it consistently.
Breaks more like an old fashion screwball than a sinker. But it's FN 92mph!!! Still think Zach Britains 96 was the best. That was all he threw as a closer. That was all he needed.

This pitch actually shouldn’t have negative effects on the elbow because the movement is achieved through seam shifted wake, as opposed to pronation.
