Both are valid, godzillas resume is just more impressive.
Shimo is older than most Titans including Godzilla, so he was probably a hatchling or smth when she caused an Ice Age (for those who don't know, Earth has frozen over multiple times over millions of years)

I was rooting for Godzilla the whole time for 2 reasons. 1: I knew Kong was gonna lose and what's the point in rooting for someone or a team you know is gonna lose; and 2: I like Godzilla more.

Believe it or not, the whole pink color thing for Godzilla was actually a reference/inspired from the Kaioken. Godzilla’s energy levels were also said to be 20 times higher than before, which was also inspired by Goku going Kaioken X20 against Frieza.
