Finally! Someone answered my question about possible flow restrictions. I have an above ground pool with a 1½ hp pump and a 22" filter. The thing MOVES a lot of water. I DON'T want compromise this. And i was thinking that an inline would restrict flow. I'm glad you mention that...now I know that I want an off line chlorinator. Thank you!
I am happy this information was helpful to you. I have 50 of these videos of different pump installations and you can learn a lot about what NOT to do from these videos. You can find them all on this page: www.swimmingpoolsteve.com/pages/installation-tips.html

Nice overview for people who don't know much about pool equipment, thanks!

I just bought a Hayward CL200 inline clorinator. What is the Union Part number that will allow me to stay at a 2" PVC pipe?
Would the off line chlorinator tend to clog more thah an Inline?
Do you have a recomended brand for a off line chlorinator? I am looking at the powerclean ultra
It so hard to find anyone to work on a above ground pool.
I have an AG pool, no heater....Do I need a check valve?
No good
