That was a terrific game for Pompey to win . First half was electric and could have gone either way until the goal right on half time . Second half everyone worked really hard to keep our stranglehold on the game and eventually Wanderers wilted . Nice to see Tom and the 4 - 0 crowd and glad you enjoyed it . The squad has so far been good enough to find new ways to win with injuries to important players .You can't predict anything at this stage of the season , but it looks good .
Welcome to the only Football league ground (technically) not on mainland Britain . We are just about an island courtesy of a tidal channel spanned by several bridges so you might not notice and heavily populated . It helps explain why the club is so loved locally and Fratton park . The work going on is bringing it up to modern standards with the old terracing on which seats were hastily installed in hard times being remodelled properly and the final phase is being completed .
Brilliant meeting you and thanks for getting us in the video, huge performance and deserved the 3 points against such a good side, that construction work is currently for the Milton End, they’ve recently done the north and south stands and the Milton End is nearly done too

that is a proper football stadium, great video mate
All the construction stuff outside the North stand is for the work that has been done and is in progress on the Milton end which is nearing completion. The next phase of the works is to improve the TV gantry on top of the South stand which will allow the TV cameras to return to the roof and free up more seats in the South stand, then eventually once a new bridge has been approved from Fratton station there are plans to expand the stadium with an extension of the North stand to allow at least another 10,000 seats. There are talks of the club buying up houses around the stadium when they become available to eventually be able to expand the Milton end, but they aren't actively trying to get people to sell their houses to the club yet for the expansion, just buying them when they do go on the market.
The Milton End is being renovated that's why there is so much building material around.

We’re building the away stand and the corners to better the away day experience from toilets to the food but the whole stadium is getting revamped, next is the tv gantry, was there to us win, but home fans were the POM (as a Pompey fan)
