- It's no secret that working in sales has a negative steriotype. Most people hate sales reps and sometimes it's even justified. We will go over a day in the life of a sales rep so you can learn what it is like to work in sales. Hopefully, we will change people's minds so that they no longer think sales people suck / hate us.

Love these sales videos! I’ve been in the game for over 5 years, and truly love it. I have had a few short periods of time where occasionally might hit a slump which can lead to some less than ideal numbers, but seeing my fellow sales folks out there enjoying what they do is a great way to get reignited. Sales people don't suck if their product and/or sales strategy is decent. Cold calling rubbish to clients who don't want/need the product is when a salesperson can suck. You are doing a fantastic job on/off YT!
Great video! Sales is a whole another world. I went from route sales to new business sales the growth has been great and the transition good. You just have to keep always pushing forward.

I would peel back one layer further and say that if a salesperson is in “desperation mode”, I’d say that they likely:
1. Don’t believe in what they’re selling or
2. The market for what they’re selling is in a downturn.
From my experience as a salesperson, those have been the two underlying issues that I’ve seen lead to unethical behavior.
Long story short, I believe it’s more than just a number they’re trying to hit. Nevertheless, it’s a lesson for everyone to show some empathy and to not waste each other’s time.

Antithetical to the idiom’s intent the “Lowest man on the totem pole” is actually a compliment because the men relegated to the lower rungs of their tribes totems were often the most prestigious. The lowest carvings are the closest to the line of sight. The higher on the totem the less important hero’s went and the lowest details were needed in carving as it would be farthest from anyones eyes.
This is why I keep you on the payroll

I don't think sale people suck. I think we all sale didn't version of ourselves. Rather if it is our actions, voice tone, or body language. I don't have IG, but are you at SweetBerry? I think you mention them before.

The sales (drug) reps that come to our office (medical office) can be annoying, when say to busy too talk will, just keep on talking. certainly never think scum, just super pushy. Also, never know what type of car driving.

@@BusinessAndFitness they do. There are certain sales reps that are really nice and will sign for samples for them, even if do not need. I get it, hard job just, overworked and overwhelmed most of the time. I know drug rep different from what you do.
