Secret Feature 2 - Plug and unplug from the same USB-C port 10 times within 60 seconds. Power Expert - I haven’t gotten this one but someone said you need to connect 3 high power devices (maybe including one 140w and one 100w) Feature Expert - The port priority settings have been adjusted 10 times Also for the one you’ve unlocked but it’s locked again. Unplug the charger from the wall, plug it back in, open Anker App, go to Secret features, repeat the steps you did to unlock the Secret Feature = it should now unlock in the App too.
@@ilsalmeron Legend! Got them all unlocked now, including the one that decided to re-lock itself 😄 Power Expert is "Connect 3 high performance laptops simultaneously". I don't have 3 laptops... but my plugging in my MacBook Pro, plus both the 250W & 200W Prime Power Banks to the C1, 2 & 3 ports did the trick! ✌🏻
@5:46 when plugging in new devices, does it cut off power to the other plugged in devices? I only know of a handful of chargers that doesn't cut power when negotiating power as I'm planning to use it with a HomePod mini and USB lamp so it'll be pretty annoying if it keeps cutting them off when I plug in a phone/tablet.
This is useful for on the go, for travelling. I find charging higher watts items more difficult, for example the USB PD 3.1 specification states that extended power delivery can deliver up to 240 watts on a USB C port. However currently in the UK, there is only wall chargers and power banks to a maximum of 140 watts. Certain laptops as a example do need more then 140 watts. Great content however thank you
The max current through cable is still the same, so it will only charge faster if your device supports and requests higher voltage. 48V is used in order to get 240W charging, compared to max 20V in the original PD specs. Devices needing more than 100W are not very common (note need, not can use), resulting in a too small market for ubiquitous faster chargers.
Jack, do you have any recommendations for Macbook Pro 16” users for a desktop solution? Replacing the OEM 140w brick wall charger and being able to have it constantly plugged in to get the full 140w? Curious what your setup is.
Have the MacBook Pro hooked up to the Studio Display pretty much all the time at home, which keeps it charged up (or automatically at around 80% to preserve the battery). And I can just grab when I need to take it on the go! For an on the go charger I use Anker’s 120W plug (which is 100W max from 1 port, but I find that’s enough, and way smaller than Apple’s 140W!) Or I’ll take the Anker 250W Prime Power Bank which can output 140W if I’m away from any plugs ⚡️
@@JCKRGB Thanks Jack. I have another question. I am also planning to purchase this desktop charger, but I had a question about the AC power plug. Do you think it's okay to swap out the figure 8 cord for a region specific cord? (currently living in South Korea, and was wondering if I can just swap it out with a generic figure 8 ac cord).
Timely product considering all the devices that need charging, Jack. “Power user”, nice😂. Great how the unit just fit under your shelf, as if you gave them the specs😊. Just to clarify, the unit communicates via WI-FI, but not yet Bluetooth? Can you plug in a USB hub and and charge multiple devices from one port? Cheers!
I know right? Lots of power hungry tech nowadays. And yeah it fits so perfectly under the shelf! 👌🏻 It has both Bluetooth & WiFi. Most of the app features work over Bluetooth, just the Clock and firmware updates need WiFi. Don’t see why you can’t plug in another hub, but that hub would be limited by the max output of the port it’s plugged into I guess. Thanks for watching Paul! ✌🏻
My charger just arrived today when I set it up with the app my own home wifi which runs on 2.4 ghz is not showing up in the list everyone else's wifi is showing up. please anybody let me know what could be the problem.

Yeah, it does momentarily cut off the power when negotiating power for new devices. So might not be the best option for a HomePod mini or lamp! ✌🏻
These are the videos that got me into your channel! Gonna buy this!
Oh nice one! Love Anker’s accessories, great addition to the desk setup ⚡️

Yeah defo good if you’ve good some high power tech with you, better than carrying a bunch of separate chargers. Thanks for watching! ✌🏻

Looking to get one to replace a older 100w version. I like your reviews.
Great replacement, especially for newer, higher power tech. Thanks for watching my videos! ✌🏻
Congrats on 22k, Jack!
Thanks so much! 🥳🙏🏻

I was gonna say, it does sort of look like a 90s radio alarm clock!
It really does 😄
Can you review some of the mid range android phones ?

Does it support Samsung super fast 2.0 ??
It should as the 200w version that came out at the same time supports it

Do you mean it won't see the 2.4ghz to connect to it?
@shaolin95 My router name was not showing in the list but now it is showing and connecting perfectly normal
Does this unit get warm when in use? Oops! Looks like you covered this near the end of your review 👍🏻
Haha! No probs! ✌🏻
U have any issue with the screen. A lot of people say is burry and not bright the screen
It's true.
Too bad it's not available for Europe.
It is available.
