I am a beginner to woodwork, the main test I have with this bundle ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt is that I think that its hard to settle on a choice of the plan and outline to use as there are a large portion of them there. Nonetheless, I like the simple stride to step directions laid out there.

I think the router option was a great choice, perfection has no personality. This has the character of trying new things and learning different techniques, which is what it's all about. Great job!

Alex, great job! I have learned a bunch from watching your videos. Over the last two years I have built, rebuilt, changed a bunch of things in our house and have learned that fear of failure stops many of us from even trying. Love the T-shirt logo about "Mistakes" I know that too many people are critics, yet one thing I learned while putting balusters in around a staircase, when you want to come out with everything centered and very similar, start with your first mark in the center, then take dividers set a distance then walk them each way. Adjust a little until you get your distances exactly where you want them, set the stop on the divider and viola everything comes out awfully close to perfect and you don't end up with the issue of drawer pulls being in the wrong place. Again thanks for not being too afraid to try!

    Hi Alex. Alex here too.
Came here to check and easy way to make fluted doors as one of my customers requested that.
Pleasantly surprised by your shirt. Thank you for supporting Ukraine.
    Слава Україні.
I mostly deal with melamine/laminates/prefinished stuff, but fluted doors are going to be first for me.

My dad was a custom home builder. As soon as I was old enough to walk I would visit him on the job sites. Guess dad left an impact on me because I do a ton of building projects most people would shy away from. I'm building a high end, super functional and practical chicken coop with a run as soon as my house is built. Looks like I'll start by the end of the summer. My inspiration for the design came from Carolina Coops. Another favorite channel of mine. Thanks for all of the tips and inspiration. I forgot to mention, the raised bed that you made using the Japanese wood burning method, that's my inspiration for my raised beds. I love how it naturally protects the wood and it looks awesome next to the steel. That video is why I subscribed to your channel! :)

I learned a long time ago that trying to save money on certain things is just no Bueno. As I am getting older my OCD gets worse and worse. I have a CNC machine I purchased a long time ago to help my OCD'ness. To do one or two projects buying a CNC machine wouldn't be practical. Over the years and allowing me to be more creative has worked out in the long run. One other thing you should look into is under-drawer mounts. I have started using them on some projects and they really keep a clean look when they are opened. Great job and really liked the end result.

25-27 inch deep vanity?? That's deep.. for the size of the sink that U put in when U finish it up there's a big gap between the edge of the vanity and the start of the sink.. which m and that if U had little kids even standing on a short stool it would be hard to even reach the tap and or wash their hands and the large gap just looks off.. maybe a 22-23 inch vanity would have been a better fit for the sink you guys chose... I know in the U.S they tend to make things larger but here in Europe the vanities depth range from 18-22 inch depth.. but since Ure building it O think a 22inch depth vanity is just fine

Seems that your budget breakdown is slightly misleading, as you only account for the materials you use, not what you bought. The legs being an example: you claim the piece was $37 to buy, but you only accounted for $28.
Something else that would be great to add is the amount of time you spent doing this, as well as a tool list of what you used. Raw materials cost is nice, but at the very least time would tell me whether or not it’s “worth it” to undertake a cool project like this. Tools are also nice, though that’s really more of a concern for specialty tools and/or first-time builders
    Thanks!!
