In this video I talk about a weird trend on UA-cam where literally anything that's ever been made gets exposed and scrutinized for hiding "dark secrets", which almost always turn out to be neither dark, nor secrets. It's clickbait at its finest, and the worst offender is a channel called 'The Things'. Yeah, that's really their name.

10:18 When a comment has a heart, the heart gets removed if you edit the comment, as far as I know. I think this happens to pinned comments as well. So her saying "OMG IT WAS PINNED" unpinned the comment.
That makes sense, because otherwise you could get your comment pinned, and then change the comment to something completely different like an ad to subscribe to your own channel or propaganda or something
I came down to the comments to see if anyone mentioned this. Pinned comments have the pin removed if you edit them for exactly that reason, otherwise someone could say "I love this video!", get pinned, and then edit it to say something racist or insulting.
Yeah, it's kind of funny how people can unpin or unheart their own comments by editing them. Personally, I find those "thanks for all the likes" edits a bit annoying to be honest. They don't add any substance.

Okay but like, the last “dark secret” was the plot for Andi Mack so it’s very possible they did make that plot line for good luck Charlie and deemed it not appropriate for kids and then came back to it later. Disney tried not to let it be too well known, because obviously they don't want people thinking that the child stars are in danger, but the LAPD were involved. It was a big deal...
