These are very nice auto parts box cars. Not sure what they were hauling by your later era interests but I've got a gaggle of them for the FordFAST which carried auto parts from Michigan to Milpitas California on a 90 day on / 90 day off schedule alternating between competing railroads to encourage on-time delivery. I've got the light blue DT&T, red SP, brown Southern, black N&W and other era typical for late 70's thru early 80's. To fix wobble, remove one of the trucks and file down the lip part way and put the truck back on and tighten the screw until it stops swiveling and back off the screw enough so the truck swivels freely but does not rock.
The suggested minimum radius is 24 inch. But what is REALLY the minimum radius for these cars??? For example, the Walthers Autoracks also have "suggested minimum radius 24 inch", but in reality, they go through 18 inch without any problems....

These Tangent cars are awesome! I've got the Cascade green CB&Q version from a past run and I love it, even if it is a club layout only car!

Just curious, do you run any BIG STEAM on your layout?

👍👍👍
Can these be used on 3rd radius curves or is it better to use them on 4th radius curves?.
You mean european R3 or R4? For sure at least R4 = cca. US 22" curves.
Minimum recommended radius per Tangent is 24"R. No idea what 3rd or 4th radius is.
Do they make them in n scale?
