I was thinking of the beef at first and was going to call you out on the 'protein' that 90% styrofoam filler had. But yes...the beans! Taco Bell in Korea got rid of the bean burrito and made a kimchi burrito...so I haven't had that delight in a long time.
I worked in the marketing department at Taco Bell Corp in the mid 90’s. You missed Border Lights, Taco Bell’s attempt at healthy menu items with half the fat. Ironically enough, these were offered just prior to the bacon menu items that came next. They were all on the menu at the same time for a few short weeks.
There are a ton of items missing from this list. There were even shots of menu boards thar listed them. Hard and Soft Taco supremes, Taco Bell Grande, Taco Lite, Fiesta Taco, fiesta Soft Taco, chicken and steak soft tacos, mexi-melt, country bfast burrito (the best), sasauge bfast burrito, bacon bfast burrito , fiesta burritos, combo platters 1,2, and 3. I know there are more.
You missed the brief appearances of Chocotaco a couple decades or so ago, and the Carmel Apple Empanadas (and other Empanadas) as well. Actually you missed a lot, but those stood out to me.
Wish they would bring a little of the quality back that they had in the 80's. I ate taco bell almost everyday in my teens. So much better than it is now.
My family had a fast food Friday or Saturday once or twice a month in the 70s and when I wasn't in the mood for tacos or burritos I ordered the Bellburger! I LOVED it but never had it again before it was changed on the menu!
Back in the ‘80’s, my favorite item was the Big Beef Burrito Supreme. Each of these must have weighed close to a pound, two were almost more than I could eat as a young man and a couple of them cost 5 or 6 bucks. When you bit into them, the ingredients (beef, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, etc) were all distinctly identifiable and they were delicious. The last couple of times I ate at Taco Bell the Burrito Supreme was a limp, deflated tortilla with a small dollop of some indefinite burrito flavored goo. The food was so disgusting the last couple of times I was there that I’ll NEVER go back!
You left out every Taco Bell Tummy Ache after eating every Taco Bell menu item since 1962 which is around 50 trillion from all their patrons who ever ordered something from there.
I would love if they actually brought back the chili burger. Sounds super delicious! Also, the more recent Crispy melt taco! The combination of the white corn shell, and the nacho cheese and cheddar cheese was absolutely delicious! They say all good things come to an end, but why? 🤷🏻♂️💯😒😂
My usual Taco Bell order is a beefy 5 layer burrito with a cheesy bean and rice burrito. I was disappointed when they dropped the double decker taco, however. But if they get it then you can bet i'll be sure to snag one.
My favorite item is the 7 layer burrito. I wish they would bring it back. I loved the fiesta veggie burrito since it was very similar but, of course, they’ve discontinued that as well.
Most folks won't believe me, but I had a plushie of Gidget saying "Viva Gorditas" like in 7:53. As a kid, I never knew what the hell it was saying. After several years, that mystery has now been solved for me.
You missed one. I loved their Frito Burrito. It was a chili burrito with Frito chips. It was super crunchy and delicious. But it may have been a Texas only thing.
Maaannn the 2010s grilled stuffed burrito (with baja sauce) got me through so many late work/study nights. super bummed they got rid of it and baja sauce 😕
Tostados are simply open-faced tacos, just like Mexican pizza is an open-faced Meximelt. (And if TB doesn’t bring back the Meximelt, I’m gonna DEFECT!!)
THANK YOU!!!! 10:44 ive been trying to remember this menu item for years, but thanks to this video I now know the menu item and craving for them to bring back is the Triple Stack Stack
O_O I just had Taco Bell yesterday!!! (looks skyward) Okay, God...LISTEN!!! If you are going to make me psychic for real, give me the dang lottery numbers! We've discussed this!!!
Taco Bell in Korea has a Shrimp Taco salad. It has wasabi in it or something and it just defeats the purpose of having good old white people Mexican food.
Don't know if its just because of different sites or how they're done changed but when I was young (the few times I tried Taco Bell (notfeeling like going into diner and only having a couple bucks on me) I remember the tacos actually being crsip and crunchy but in the decades since then every time I've tried them they seem almost soggy at the bottom and stale at the top.
This is culture. I hope taco bell dont go out of business I feel they are the only fast food chain who listens to the consumers. Their prices definitely arent as good as they used to be but it still fills you up for a good hour lol.
When I was a homeless young person, taco bell was an oasis of warm affordable protein. I could say .79 cent bean and cheese burritos saved my life. 😊
My gym teacher when I was in grade school was named Mr. Fletcher. I just thought of that when I seen your name and thought it was neat. ❤
@@7-tenWould be funny/cool if Miss Fletcher was related to your Mr Fletcher lol
I was thinking of the beef at first and was going to call you out on the 'protein' that 90% styrofoam filler had. But yes...the beans! Taco Bell in Korea got rid of the bean burrito and made a kimchi burrito...so I haven't had that delight in a long time.
@@evolancer211 Fletcher is a really common last name. 😁

I worked at Taco Bell in the 80's, when we made everything from scratch. Hated the taco salad shells, they were always breaking .
Yes everything’s better when it’s made from scratch tacos taste better when there made fresh
Oh, taco bell, taco bell product placement with taco bell. Enchirito, nacho, burrito. -Master Tang
Ventriloquists, eh?
I need the TACO SALAD back! AND it’s edible bowl! Also the “Meximelt”. They don’t mention in the vid the “light” menu in the 90’s!
The meximelt was my go to!
I ate a crunchwrap supreme yesterday, and entered the $500 sweepstakes with my receipt 😅
Good luck🎉

They also showed the flatbreads but never talked about them.. missed some breakfast items.. and fruit pebble delights
They mentioned the volcano taco in the late 2000’s, but there was a volcano burrito back in 1995
Also the Beefy Crunch Burrito
Should have been a Tuesday video, really.
lol
You missed the brief appearances of Chocotaco a couple decades or so ago, and the Carmel Apple Empanadas (and other Empanadas) as well. Actually you missed a lot, but those stood out to me.
Wish they would bring a little of the quality back that they had in the 80's. I ate taco bell almost everyday in my teens. So much better than it is now.
The enchirito is the best item Taco Bell has ever had. I wish they would bring it back and make it permanent.
I miss the Tostado, got it for every meal for decades.
The chili cheese burrito going away was like losing a good friend. Good on taco smell for bringing it back.
You missed the Taco Light in the 80s. Large crunchy taco made with a flour tortilla. Delicious with sour cream.
Every Wendy’s menu item says the beginning
Totally missed the beefy 5 layer burrito, $.89 in 2003. It kept me fed in college.
I could walk around a parking lot and find enough money to eat.
Taco 🌮 Bell in the 1980's are brilliant. 😀👍
You forgot Extreme Nachos from 93.
Very interesting video. Thanks for sharing this! 😋❤️🌮🌯
EVERY item? You skipped the steak and grilled chicken soft tacos.
Beefy 5 layer, cheesy bean and rice
nice. my favorite time was definitely the 90's with 7-layer burritos and nacho cheese or supreme menu variant items(chalupa, gordita, etc.)
My family had a fast food Friday or Saturday once or twice a month in the 70s and when I wasn't in the mood for tacos or burritos I ordered the Bellburger! I LOVED it but never had it again before it was changed on the menu!
Where's the mexi-melt?
Exactly
The best menu item I specifically clicked on this video to see.
Ran here to comment this. A tragedy they discontinued it!
@chrisjuarez8034 those commercials with that melted cheese had my fatass drooling as a kid in the 80's.
I'm not huge on Taco Bell, but my Irish wife LOVES it because they don't have a lot of Mexican food over there, so we go at least once a week.

Your time line is off i worked for taco bell in the 2000s and I know when all the crunchwrap came out
You left out every Taco Bell Tummy Ache after eating every Taco Bell menu item since 1962 which is around 50 trillion from all their patrons who ever ordered something from there.
That's just because the average America has so little fiber in their diet their system has a meltdown when it encounters a tortilla full of beans.
Once they got rid of Pico I was unable to menu hack my all time favorite, the Meximelt :(
I was always kind of wary of Taco Bell when I was a kid, not sure why in hindsight. I love them now, they're one of my go-to weekend choices.
“Every”? Pfft. Didn’t even include the Texas Taco Sandwich. It probably led to their iteration of the Gordita, but the flatbread was better.
Forgot the Breakfast Burrito, which has been around since the '90s for locations, airports, that served breakfast.
I would love if they actually brought back the chili burger. Sounds super delicious! Also, the more recent Crispy melt taco! The combination of the white corn shell, and the nacho cheese and cheddar cheese was absolutely delicious! They say all good things come to an end, but why? 🤷🏻♂️💯😒😂
Nachos Bell Grande are my favorite but the crunch wrap is really good too
Mexican Pizza LIVES
The French fries are a standard menu item for taco bell I've lived in the Caribbean since 2007 and they've always been available here
My usual Taco Bell order is a beefy 5 layer burrito with a cheesy bean and rice burrito. I was disappointed when they dropped the double decker taco, however. But if they get it then you can bet i'll be sure to snag one.
The chili cheese burrito was the pinnacle of deliciousness.
There were beans on a pizza. Don't forget the sauteed veges that they added in the 90's or the Choco-Taco. Mostly by franchisee's.
They used to have this breakfast bowl that my mom loved. I think it had potatoes, eggs, cheese & tomatoes. Then, one day, it was gone.
Ah the fries supreme weren't on here, that's one of my favorites. Nacho cheese, sour cream, beef and tomato drowning a pile of fries.
I still wish they'd bring back chopped green onions.
A few people get a case of the runs, and we all have to suffer and do without. 😂😂😂
You missed one. I loved their Frito Burrito. It was a chili burrito with Frito chips. It was super crunchy and delicious. But it may have been a Texas only thing.
The Taco Bellgrande. My father used to order them all the time because they were bigger than regular tacos.
Quesadillas and Gordotas all day long baby!
Quesalupa was FANTASTIC
I love their chili cheese burritos. A few years ago I figured out how to make the chili from them at home. Surprised how easy it is.
Ever try the Frito Burrito? It's the same but you add Frito chips to it. Awesome.
Best item that was missed was the loaded potato grillers they had. Entirely carbs but it was the best thing they've never brought back
Maaannn the 2010s grilled stuffed burrito (with baja sauce) got me through so many late work/study nights. super bummed they got rid of it and baja sauce 😕
I miss the *Nacho Cheese Chalupa*
I Love Taco Bell Chili Cheese Burritos And They Nacho Nacho Cheese Fries🍟
Did I miss the grilled stuffed burrito? Or the XXL variant?
I miss the fajita wraps they made in the 90s... 😢
Tostados are simply open-faced tacos, just like Mexican pizza is an open-faced Meximelt. (And if TB doesn’t bring back the Meximelt, I’m gonna DEFECT!!)
We want the 7 layer back it's the best and they have everything in store to make it. Also miss the meximelt.
you left off my fav it was a deep fried chicken in a crunch wrap predating the naked chalupa.
the Frito Burrito was epic when it was on the menu
The Chalupa & The Cheesy Gordita are my Go To Meals at Taco Bell
My favorite is still a plain crunchy taco, but not at $1.79, lol. Pretty sad when I can get priced out, even at Taco Bell....
I still remember the Mexican pizza costing $1
My favorites are the enchorito, mexican pizza, and steak nachos XL. Sadly I can only get the pizza now😢
Taco bell needs bring back xxl grilled stuffed burritos. Please. I only liked that item.
I need that 7 layer burrito back… that was my shit in the late 90’s
Love the Crunchyqrap
I love me a chalupa! And I still miss enchiritos.
Alan Thicke? Ok... I forgot that. Right on
baja blast is a permanent store addition now
Missed items and described the gordita crunch when talking about the release of gorditas. What is this nonsense? Lazy.
And you missed those slushie drinks they started.
Quesarito fans need to riot by now.
Taco Bell 1st 30 years menu= Taco Casa
THANK YOU!!!! 10:44 ive been trying to remember this menu item for years, but thanks to this video I now know the menu item and craving for them to bring back is the Triple Stack Stack
O_O
I just had Taco Bell yesterday!!!
I still have one of those Batman cups
🎼 I 🖤 🌮 s! 🎶
I ate so many Mexican pizzas growing up
why is there a nikocado clip :(
double decker taco always and forever
What about fiesta bowls? Used to go crazy for those.
Frito did it before Doritos with the Frito burrito in the 90's
Don't know if its just because of different sites or how they're done changed but when I was young (the few times I tried Taco Bell (notfeeling like going into diner and only having a couple bucks on me) I remember the tacos actually being crsip and crunchy but in the decades since then every time I've tried them they seem almost soggy at the bottom and stale at the top.
They showed the flatbreads twice but didn’t talk about them? And ZERO mention of the Fruity Pebble delights? 😑
Thank GAWD i live somewhere where better tasting Authentic Mexican food is cheaper.
This is culture. I hope taco bell dont go out of business I feel they are the only fast food chain who listens to the consumers. Their prices definitely arent as good as they used to be but it still fills you up for a good hour lol.
Yes, the good voice ✌🏾
Cinnamon Crispas > Cinnamon Twists
i could listen to this guy read anything!
That description for the Gordita is wrong
Where's the CaseOh' favorite Steakhouse burrito??
Looking at the comments, you could do a whole new video on the items you missed in this one.
What about the 3-cheese beef melt?!
Taco Bell’s taco isn’t a take on the Mexican taco, it’s a Tex mex taco. Get your facts straight
I miss the volcano taco
I liked the Meximelt.
Cinnamon twists suck, those sweet chips look better.
HOW ARE YOU GONNA LEAVE OUT THE QUESARITO
R.I.P god bless
Rolled chicken tacos.
You skipped the meximelt, ya know? D:
