Ali demonstrates enormous patience in enduring Sugli's mistreatment and receiving constant orders and demands from Akram's father. "Alì accompany us to the funeral, Alì accompany me to the city to buy some materials, Alì accompany me to the mountains to get the wood, Alì we need to build the sheep enclosure". Ali is the slave of his in-laws. I don't like the abuse they use on Ali. Sooner or later Ali will get tired and leave home. Be careful Akram.
I believe that will happen too. Everyone gets tired of being used eventually. And who could blame him for leaving that.
Ali can do all those things because he doesn't go out to work to support his family!

Oh my goodness WOW!!!!!! how fast they hurried up and got ready for a funeral and how they piddle just to get Akram to the doctors office or to the hospital….. this family works against each other instead of together, and I believe the young family of Akram and Ali need to be separated from the grandparents they’re too demanding unless they have set rules and boundaries. This young lady just came back from the doctors or the hospital where in my opinion, she needs a day of rest here she is handling the sheep, the feeding of the sheep, the gathering of the sheep and cleaning the area of the two homes she can handle the children cause they can basically do what they need on their own, but they gave her that much of responsibility after her coming out of the hospital. It’s a little bit selfish, or a lack of concern for her health.😢
