Bravo! I felt for you when I saw you holding the trimmer and just couldn’t do it. I was alone in my room cheering, “do it! Do it!!” Because I remember that moment. Thank god for your child! And your face showed how the stress came off your shoulders! the same relief I felt when I shaved my head the first time. It’s so freeing! And you look great!
I feel a little bad for him. He didn't seem less stressed and relived even in the interview. He seemed sad. I hope you're right. I think he maybe can ditch the beard and grow the horse shoe now. Everyone's seen him completely bald so a horseshoe would be a cool thing and a clean shaven face.
Dude does in fact look better bald, not better than his hair system but better than that super thinning cycle he was stuck in. If you keep the beard looking top notch, you'll rock the bald look like a Chad.
The kid is obviously very smart. Kids that age are not accepting of changes in looks of the people around them. Their understanding of a person hugely relies on looks. This is why they usually cry or throw a tantrum when dad shaves the beard or mom gets a new haircut.
His kind of hair loss looks very similar to mine. I did the comb over thing for years. Then I went to just wearing a hat, which actually was a huge improvement over the comb over. It took me a long time to shave my hair completely. And I still have a habit of wearing a hat a lot. On a more positive note, he rocks the bald look. 👍
Shaving your head is like jumping into a pool with cold water. Once you jump in your fine but it's getting to the point of jumping in that's hard. I've known bald people my whole life and never thought anything negative about them, it was opposite. Most of them cracked jokes about themselves. To be honest, bald is a hair style, both these guys look not only good, but also makes them look more interesting in my opinion, I shaved my head for my transplant and had never done it before, and I was surprised how good it looked. So, I’m not worried anymore if the hair eventually falls out, it’s all good.
He looked SO MUCH better once he started to shave off his hair lol. Looks great! The only thing is that he should keep his beard trimmed close to the face. He actually has a great shaped head and face and the puffier beard makes his face look round.

It’s now at the point however that it’s thinning all on top and towards the crown and when bright light shines directly above it, balding is noticeable. My biggest fear is that I’m blonde. I have darker eyebrows but my beard comes out sort of ginger and it doesn’t grow very thick. I always find people with darker hair and thicker beards look natural bald. I feel that being blonde and fairer haired is going to look odd. I’m also a teacher so the change in style going to work is really a big factor that’s stopping me from at least trying it.
