I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your videos. A lot of people nowadays make amv’s that focus on action or are just random scenes over music. It’s nice to see an amv maker that actually likes to create a story with the music and anime. You inspired me to make amv’s, and even if they’re shit because I have to use mobile iMovie, I really enjoy it.
At first I wasn't really much of a fan of this, but then I started watching it more and more, and the more that I listened to it, the more I began to feel the lyrics rather than listen to them, because on my first viewing it sounded off. The lyrics seemed weird for MHA, worrying about appearances and such. But then I realized that was the point. It isn't doing that. It doesn't care that 100 bad days making a 100 good stories makes you interesting at parties, it's mocking it. They're not scared of those bad days anymore, not scared of the implications of those bad days. They're not scared anymore.
I found out about your channel from your "If One Piece characters had theme songs" video! Ever since I loved your channel and videos! Please continue to keep up the great work!
i feel like the line "no i ain't scared of you" resonates a lot with midoriya in particular because he's gone through a lot of crap in his life, like - Being born quirkless - Being told *by his IDOL* you can't become a hero unless you have a quirk - Having hurt himself countless times because he couldn't control his new-found power and his body wasn't quite used to it - Having his used-to-be-best-friend bully him for something he couldn't control - Being told to commit suicide by the same ex best-friend - Having his dad leave when he was barely able to walk - Feeling somewhat inferior to the other people in his class and i can imagine when someone gives him crap, it wouldn't faze him because he's already been through a lot. I remember this being good, but I forgot that it makes me cry almost every time, especially the moment when Mirio is smiling at Eri as he takes the bullet for her. Gah. The edits are so clean, and the choice of what clips are matched with which lyrics is always on point. Also, it's always satisfying when an amv matches the beat and tempo of the chosen song. Two thumbs up.
