Robin next time use a straw to poke the holes. Comes out neatly the excess dough goes up the straw. Just a small tip i found. Thanks for sharing making these for valentine's day. Love from Portugal Algarve x
Great idea, and simple too! I think it would be real cute to use green & red silky ribbon for the hanger, add a tiny little bell for an extra add bit of cuteness. So perfect! Thanks for sharing!
So glad you shared this. I have never liked the idea of using flour and sugar, because there are poor people who would rather use these to make a meal, rather than ornaments.
Forty years ago someone at work made these as Micky Mouse characters. Hair was made with a garlic press etc. They were my son's first tree ornaments, too. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
You have the best tutorials....you're so thorough!!! Thank you for sharing this with us! I might make some today!!! (Your voice is sounding a little bit better!!!)
I have made some in the past. Quick tip ... don't store in extreme conditions for a year or they will crack! My decorations are stored in a plastic tub in a shed in TX ... not good for salt dough ornaments! Yours look fab! Love the cookie cutters ❤️

I've done salt dough and cinnamon dough, but not cornstarch. I like the smooth finish of these! Thank you for the tute.
This is my fave dough recipe ever. I still have ornaments I made in the 80's from it. Glad you are sharing it.
LittleWillie1000 I was going to ask how strong this dough is, but if you have ornaments from the 80s, that a good testament to their strength
ok
Can u please share the measurements in writing
Just made these and we made extra one's for each of our pets. We stamped their paw prints in them! I'm so excited to decorate and hang them up! Thank you for the amazing tutorial!
Excellent! Finally someone who put the exact easy steps in the notes area with the bake time and oven temp! Thank you!
I'm using this for my baby's first Christmas ornament, I'm using their little foot instead of a cookie cutter :)
Just a random NoName what an excellent idea. Maybe make a few spares ( breakage or grandparents wanting some ) ❤️🇨🇦❤️
That’s a great idea.
Just be careful and keep them in a safe place! 😊 Water will melt them almost instantly unless they're thoroughly sealed!!
Such a beautiful idea
Cute idea!! Congratulations on your little one!!!🤗🤩😊

I have made these for years for classroom Christmas projects
Works every time and we just air dry them versus baking
How much time does it take approximately to air-dry them?
About a day
I do not use a fan, that can cause cracking
I made these but added (natural colors from turmeric paprika spirulina) they turned out great
