This is a great idea! I think I'm going to make these as Christmas gifts, and use them as a Special Occasions set. Where they can keep track of birthdays and holidays, and I'll make a large pocket in each where they can store greeting cards. I'll probably make a few to go with it. Great idea, thanks for the inspiration!
You are 'super woman'. One project after the next. I'm running out of adjectives!!! Fabulous job. I am so going to make one of these. I love your idea of making them Birthday cards...
Thank you, Clareene. I agree, they would be great as birthday cards. The project design is very flexible. I am going to do a video tutorial on how I made them.
Gorgeous! What size of magnets do you use? Also, are you inking the edges? I am looking for a recommendation on what ink pad to buy to use for that purpose. Thank you for the beautiful video!
So glad you like the project. Thank you! I use Basic Grey magnets (small). Yes, I ink the edges. I use Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain.
@@designwishesbypamela Thank you! I have been searching Amazon trying to pick some magnets but it’s hard to tell what the actual size (around) and the thickness. I can only assume that they have to be maybe 1mm thick? That way it won’t make a huge mark on the cardstock? :-)
@@jennhoff I just measured one of the small magnets and it is approximately 1mm thick. I've used this brand of magnets for years with success. I have tried other magnet brands and so far Basic Grey is my "go-to" magnet for crafting.
Super cute!
I love the idea of a monthly journal for us busy memory keepers!
