It was an interesting scene
The disparity you are noticing between Wilhelm and Simon’s attention toward each other comes from the fact that Wilhelm is a simp for Simon, he has been from day one. Wilhelm really has no life outside of his crown prince duties, he doesn’t really have any friends with the exception of Felice but she has her own friend group too, Simon is his life, so he’s always obsessed. Simon on the other hand while he loves Wilhelm, has a whole life going on outside of their relationship . He has his family, his own friend group, he has the choir, he has his music, so Wilhelm is just a part of his life but not the entire thing. I mean think about it, when Simon suggested to Wilhelm to quit rowing and do something that he enjoys, what did Wille do??? He joined the choir so he can be with Simon. Simon is his entire existence.
Thisss! Shows how terrible the monarchy effects Wille😭 plus since when has physical affection and lust been the measurement for how much someone loves you💀

This exactly. Simon is the highlight of his life. In season 1 Wille deleted his number yet he remembered it...
I also think Simon didn't see Wille as a prince, but as a normal human being, also Simon never cared about the rotal part, he accepts it, but doesn't carr about it if that makes sence. The intimate moment was juicy but I think fornonce they let their guard fully down, no fear of getting caught, just them two. They need it I think... Wille maybe a little obsessed with Simon but can you blame him? 😊
Everyone seems so shocked by the hallway scene!
The whole thing, from skipping into the hall to post-climactic 'I love you's', took only 70 seconds of screen time. There was not 1 gratuitous or shocking frame, and not one shot below the waist. Just passionate queer love and youthful joy.

Saying that Simon doesn`t love Wille as much as Wille loves him isn´t right. Yes, Wille stares a lot and very intense but Simon also always searches for Wille´s presense and looks at him like he hung up the moon. They both love each other equally but show it in different ways.

No, the hats aren't for the rowing team, those are Swedish graduation hats ("Studentmössa"). At Walpurgis ("Valborg") on April 30th all those who are going to graduate that year gets to wear their hats, all over Sweden. Some elderly students also puts on their hat on that day. The song they sing at 5:42 is typical for this celebration, everyone learns that in school, it's basically about how the winter is over and now it's spring and these big bonfires are lit everywhere, and people gather and celebrate.

@@elenaoakes8494 right! that was a shocking revelation. to think also that they come from fans of the show is terrible.. they're literally missing the entire message of the show. ive seen the messages people leave about how they ship edvin and omar and speculation about their personal lives. ive seen it myself how badly one of omars former partners was harassed and bullied by people online. it's no ones business but theirs. i felt so angry when i saw that info from lisa.
If the Royal Court had talked with Simon and his mother immediately after Wille’s speech, he would’ve known not to post pictures, and respond to comments, but they left it to Wille just talk to him, when Wille already had enough to deal with. And I think the scene here during Walpurgis is at least the third time the two of them have made love (the night August took the video was the first, and after Wille skipped the class presentation and Simon came to his room was the second). And I think picking up the second season of Heartstopper is a great idea to prepare for the third season coming in October.

Simon´s posts on social media aren´t the reason someone threw a rock through his window. The royalists who aren´t amused that their beloved crown prince is dating a poc guy from the working class are the problem. This incident would´ve happend even without Simon using social media. The royal court should´ve provided Simon´s family with security in front of their house to prevent this incident.
Simon doesn´t know how to deal with the hatred he gets online because nobody ever told him how he should react in such a situation. Wille who has gotten a lot of media training in the past takes the knowledge he has for granted so that´s why he doesn´t explain to Simon why he shouldn´t react to those comments and instead just tells him to just ignore them. The royal court should´ve provided Simon with social media training after Wille´s speak to prepare him for what´s about to come and make this whole situation less stressful for both Simon and Wille.

I really think that the royal court should have had a meeting with Simon and his mom about appropriate behavior for a boyfriend of the crown Prince and not leave it to a 16 year old boy.
