some people ”are born” to like to be activists, and some are not.
Wilhelms personality shows that he is not so intersted in standing at the barricades and fight. His focus is on the inner values in humans and sets his top priority on caring for his close relations. Simons pesonality is also caring but shows that his focus is to discuss and agitate about injustice in the society as a whole and is willing to work for changes. More of a risktaker and he is more extrovert.

Always enjoy your reactions. Yes Vincent annoys me too. 😆 At first when I saw the episode, it felt like a mix of August wanting to hit Wilhelm where it hurt about his beloved brother, and also that it was just information Wilhelm needed to hear and August needed to say to not just keep it all inside. But I could understand Wilhelms reaction, because he looked so much up to Eric, and maybe often felt he had to measure up to him.

Someone from Sweden might correct me but I don't think the exam the third years are taking has an effect on their graduation (I think they have passed those exams). High school graduates take an exam to determine what their area of study will be after graduation. Edvin has commented that he tested well and auditioned for drama school but decided to study behavioral science instead.

Erik being involved in the initiations was inspired by Lisa Ambjörn's (the show creator and head writer) friend. Lisa's friend is a queer woman whose father died when she was a baby. She'd always idealized her father, only to find out that he was incredibly homophobic and may have been very cruel to her when she came out, based on his previous interactions with his friends and family when he was alive. Lisa's friend had to come to terms with her dad not being perfect. Lisa Ambjörn thought it would be an interesting thing to add to Wille's story, especially since the queen is finally grieving Erik.
Lisa Ambjörn also said the initiation was August's triggering event for his eating disorder. Even though August is not queer and the homophobia didn't bother him, being forced to undress, be subjected to sexual violence, and then the boys continuing to comment on his body afterward created his ED. Then, when August's father killed himself, it got so bad that he started abusing ADHD medication to monitor his weight too.
Ah i love this series so much and love your reactions!! Cannot wait for you to see the next two episodes, its a wild ride!! Fr though Vincents hair this season was not it😅 cannot stand his little snide remarks! Absolutely love the way this show approaches issues like the class differences with them bidding thousands on crisps!

Oh hey, the school somewhere the guys stayed until the morning, really funny, but there are some things I don't like about the rates, like the price of chips and others.
