SWFL Eagles: A quiet morning after the tragic loss of E24

- It is a very quiet and still morning the morning after E24 tragically passed away. The parents are doing great and we’re feeding more than enough to both eaglets, that they would never even fight for food. E24 will always be remembered as the strong big beautiful eaglet that got to fledge too early for all of us. E24 is now flying high in heaven. 💔😔🥺
@SouthwestFloridaEagleCam
I'm weeping this morning...... I always start each season off, telling myself it doesn't always go perfectly..... but it never eases the pain of when things happen and a life is lost.
@@RunningDarkMare they are always the first eaglets I check on in the mornings and when I woke up, I completely forgot what happened until I pulled up the cams and it all came crashing back 😔
This poor family and precious E24 . I cried all night .
Me too....
This is terrible😢 heart breaking😢 God Bless this eagle family. Prayers for E25 to be OK
E24 and E25 had seemed to be getting along so well, affectionate to each other, patient when being fed. Neither the parents nor E25 appear to know what to make of the loss of E24. I hope F23 and M15 can resume the normal tasks of raising their remaining baby. This saddens me to no end.
My heart is aching 💔
@@judithc6577 same here 💔
Has E25 been fed today and have M15 & F23 resumed their parental care since removal of E24 from the nest? I don't see food in the nest...
@@leslie-dg4um yes, f23 and m15 have fed e25
So sad and lonely 😢
F23 & M15 are fine though. Life goes on & they are lucky that they do not greave like humans. 😢
It’s gonna be terrible if the body has to remain In the nest. I can’t watch anymore if that’s the case.
@@catherinebreitfeller669 I agree. 💔
So so sad !!! 😰😰 I was just thinking that both had passed danger zone & were going to be fine. What could have happened to E25. Something he ate or something abnormal in his body. How can a necropsy be done without the body ? 😰😰
@@catherinebreitfeller669 that’s exactly what I was feeling too! And how fast they were growing, I was like they are ready to fledge soon. 💔
@@CindyEagleGirl They got along so well the times I watched! I'm so sad.
I'm guessing it was a stressful morning for this eagle family with unfeathered monsters visiting the nest.
Are the they caring for the other eaglet?
@@highvibrations981 yes, F23 dropped off a fish today
@ glad to hear that! they don’t seem to be at the nest much.
