IO Navigo - How to handle a heeled sailboat

After several months, this video, initially reserved for channel subscribers, arrives in free view. For the IO Navigo series, The Skidded Boat is a stunning video for its images shot in Sardinia on a very windy day and very interesting for its content. The video answers a series of questions: Why does a boat heel; is a sailing boat safe when it heels with the foresail in the water; how much can a boat heel remain efficient?
Maurizio Anzillotti conducts the video with the support of engineer Antonio Coi.
The video was filmed in front of the island of Tavolara with the support of the NSS Charter, which provided the two boats needed for the video and the personnel to handle them.
